A busy and intense 5 days. A wonderful experience and excellent food!

Everything seemed to go as planned

I spent 4 nights in Lourdes, weather was perfect, hotel excellent, what more could you expect.

I have travelled over 40 years with Tangney Tours. I have no plans to change from them now.

A really lovely week in my favourite place. Weather very changeable but that doesn’t deter from the experience.

Very well organised and a visible presence throughout the week. Didn’t manage the return home as well ascould have when airport issues and delays occurred.

My friend and I had a 5 day break in Lourdes on pilgrimage, with a couple of day trips out to nearby and slightly further afield towns. Our package included flights, accommodation, coach transfers and full board.

My friend and I booked a last-minute pilgrimage to Lourdes with Tangney Tours. We were assisted by Frances, who oversaw our booking . Despite there only being around 5 days between our booking and the departure date, Frances was extremely quick and efficient at organising our booking and providing instructions. Our (excellent) travel packs arrived in the post the very next day. There was clear and thorough communication throughout every step of the process and Frances demonstrated wonderful kindness and patience when answering all my questions. We were met by a Tangney Tours representative at the airport who assisted us with check-in and again when we arrived in France and were ready to be taken by coach transfer to our hotel. Frances happened to be present on our actual holiday and was professional, knowledgeable and friendly throughout our stay - we were very grateful to feel so looked after! The other Tangney Tours staff, Lisa and Linda, were our guides at various times throughout our trip and demonstrated equal knowledge, professionalism and friendliness. We were very impressed with the Beau Site Hotel, both in terms of the comforts of the accommodation, the quiet location, the excellent food and the wonderful hotel staff. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and could not seem to do enough for us and clearly take pride in their work. We were also very grateful to the wonderful coach drivers who took us out and about for their great driving skills, particularly round some of the windy roads up to Gavarnie! All in all, this was an amazing holiday for us. Arrival and departure were made smooth and easy processes thanks to the assistance of the Tangney Representatives and Tour Managers / Guides. We were impressed by the very reasonable costs of the day trips and how knowledgeable the Tangney staff were about the areas we visited as well as about Lourdes itself. We were fortunate to meet a wonderful group of people during our stay. Our hotel was perfect for our needs. Thank you so much Tangney Tours and especially to Frances, Lisa and Linda for our fantastic stay. We were lucky enough to get a discounted package deal but overall the cost was more than reasonable for all that was involved. We'll be back and have recommended Tangney to all our friends and family!

A specialist pillgramage operator who always delivers more than expected

The holiday was a 4-night stay pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Tangney Tours put together a very good programme of events for us. Their representative on site, Linda, was fantastic being both expert regarding Lourdes and the life of Saint Bernadette. She had a very helpful and caring attitude. It's such a pity that Angelic Hotel was such a disappointing base. I wouldn't recommend it and don't understand why Tangney base pilgrims there. I had no great expectations regarding the meals but they were at best average and at worst, particularly breakfast, really disappointing. I would not stay there again.

A pilgrimage to the Holy Land was a holiday of a lifetime. The spiritual director, Fr Stephen Myers, was very learned and had everything at his fingertips. He was sociable, too! Our guide, Majortt(?), from Bethlehem, was extremely competent. His knowledge of the places visited, his handling of the practicalities of times, places etc, his own knowledge of scripture, his understanding of different needs were all commendable. His years of experience shone through. One of our group had learning difficulties, ie Downs Syndrome, and he and Fr Stephen kept a constant lookout and were very kind to him. I can't thank them enough. The coach driver was also very competent. I couldn't find fault with anything.

Tangney Tours were very helpful. I seemed to have problems when emailing them so they telephoned and sent hard copies.
