A fully organised trip to the Shrine of Our Lady at Lourdes

I always enjoy being with the Raphael Pilgrimage Group.

The lady in charge of us was very knowledgeable about Lourdes and told us about the background, history and all the information we required.

We took a train. It was a tiring journey but a good experience

The tour operator was excellent but the communication from Westminster Cathedral was delayed

It was wonderful, we could enjoy the time beforehand as well as our time away because we didn't have to worry about booking flights, getting separate insurance, remembering to get boarding passes etc.

With the medical and spiritual sipport for my pilgrimage I cannot fault anything I realised thst I was still part of society. It made me feeel seen agsin and not invisible.

Very supportive. I had an issue with the hotel and going forward this should be flagged as I had to keep injections in a fridge for medical purposes. They lost an injection and eventually gave me a fridge in my room.. this was concerning as I should keep my medication with me. I had to ask for help as because of the travel and timings the senior nurse and myself decided to schedule my injections early morning so this didn’t interfere with travelling back home.

it was a fantastic experience being able to spent some time at this HOLY place , reach out a little service to the most needy people and get to know some new friends and people

I am not sure who the tour operator is. if this is the Tangney company. My honest answer would be not so good as we had to wait hours before take off to Lourdes with sick and disabled people in the plane and arriving more than two hours later than the expected time and coming back also it happened the . just siting on the plane and not moving and not reaching the destination on time isn't very pleasant. I was very disappointed in a sense especially for the vulnerable people who were with us and most of us has to get the public transport home.
