The pilgrimage was well organised and the support provided by everyone to a disabled traveller was excellent . the Catholic Association provided all the necessary care and assistance and it is amazing that they provide this so effortlessly. It is quite likely we will try to do the same thing again in 2025.

Tangney Tours are well known for their pilgrimages and this one was no exception. Making payments is easy and their office staff are all so welcoming. Having a director travel with us is very comforting and insures any little problems can be easily resolved.

We travel to Lourdes each year with Westminster, normally I spend my Birthday their, but this time we had to fly back the day before my Birthday to attend the wedding of Bernard and Pirlanta's eldest Son

Always good and friendly team

Once again I was fortunate to see an opportunity to repeat and add to my visits to Lourdes - and with Tangneys again. Old friendships renewed and many new contacts made.

For me, it is the total reliability I suppose. I hadn’t analyzed until asked to face the question. After so many years and remembering deceased family members respect for the Tangney family, one has no need to question further. If there are blips , one thinks nothing of it for it will be nothing to do with the tour operator but that firm will know the best way to look after all concerned. Trust is the key.

Things started off very well for the holiday. It was great getting the information pack and communicating before the trip. Our hotel had WiFi issues, but they were fixed while we were there. Overall, the pilgrimage was intense, but a great experience. At the end, when it came to returning to the UK, everything seemed to go out the window. The plane was delayed so long that I didn't get home until 3am the next day, when I should have been home that night. Despite requesting special assistance at both airports to get on and off the plane, my friend and I were virtually stranded. No special assistance was available, so we had to beg a staff member who wasn't a special assistance staff member for help. This portion of the trip tarnished my enjoyment of the trip a little bit.

It was a smooth booking process with the tour operator. The staff was very helpful in helping me find the hotel my friend was staying in so we could share. I appreciated that they understood my needs and checked if I had everything I needed. During the booking process, they made sure I knew what to expect after that. In general, I thought the tour operator did a great job.

Hotel was very good indeed. The leaders Dee. and David were professional in every way, also caring, and we felt safe from beginning to the end. It was the first time we’d been on a plane since Ashley’s diagnosis 4 years ago. The support from the young people was wonderful, really was. We will definitely go next year so please send us if possible an indication when we can book. Late decision to visit Lourdes (again) and thanks to the excellent help and advice from Tangney Tours we had a wondeful experience with the Catholic Association in a new hotel (for us) and a great and welcoming group of people. We are already planning to return in 2025.

Excellent work from Tangney Tours in "squeezing" us onto the Stansted flight, recommending a hotel (great choice that we will use again next visit) and sorting out the paperwork and tickets as promised and on time. A daily visit in the hotel and a recognition of my wife's special day completed their great service.

Tangney staff, especially LINDA, was excellent. She ought to receive a bonus. Her knowledge of everything to do with Lourdes is very impressive and she made my stay more meaningful.

We have traveled with Tangney Tours manay times and they are very professional although on this occasion we didn't see them very much at all and we felt alone.

I have travelled with Tangney Tours every year since they began in 1974, sometimes three times a year to Lourdes and I've also been to the Holy land, Rome, Fatima and Poland with them. As a single lady ( now elderly) I feel 100% safe with them and know that they will look after me whatever the need. A family run business and a regular team of staff means customers are known as indiviuals and treat as friends
