Pilgrimage to Lourdes with Westminster Diocese

I arranged and perfectly planned my holiday with Tangney Tour. We flew on 21 July 2018 from London Stansted airport with Titan Airways to safely arrive in Lourdes at Lourdes Airport (Aéroport de Lourdes, Tarbes et Pyrénées). Then a coach drove us from this airport to the hotel where I stayed for 6 nights and then at the end of my holiday, a coach drove us to the Lourdes airport and we flew back to London Stansted Airport and landed safely. Lourdes is an excellent holiday destination with Tangney Tour and I will strongly recommend Tangney Tour to my friends who will be willing to travel and I can’t wait to be back again in Lourdes. I really had a fantastci time with a very nice weather and met very good people

Very well organised with excellent handbook

Well organised devotions. Hotel staff friendly and helpful but hotel rooms very drab and no Fridge which was very bad in such hot weather. Food was average but stodgy, hot soup most meals no suitable For weather. When salad was served it was very good.

1 week's pilgrimage to Lourdes

My family had a wonderful time with the Westminster Pilgrimage to Lourdes. We stayed in the Alba Hotel which was lovely, good food, helpful staff and clean accommodation.

George (our Tour Rep) accompanied us on our journey to and from Lourdes. He was very helpful on the return journey when there were disruptions to the rail service and we missed our Eurostar. He remained calm and made the necessary arrangements for an alternative train.

I travel to Lourdes each year with Westminster Diocese with the Travel Operator Tangney Tours. This is my 20th such time and it never disappoints.

Tangney is very experienced at pilgrimage tours and over the years I have got to know most of the key people. They always greet me and look for feedback on how things are going.

All travel and accommodation rranged by Tangney excellent. A big thank you to Tangney for getting us home to London on 27 July given Eurostar probems, electrical fire at Montparnasse etc. I have kearnt fromthis that it is wiser to go with an noperator than independently if things go wrong ! George Tangney did excellent job.

Well organised, very helpful and friendly organisers who made suggestions wehadnt thought about and were very grateful for their input. Travelling to/from Lourdes including transfers from airport to the hotel were done in a timely fashion. After speaking to their representatives we choose La Solitude ( full board - incl breakfast/lunch & dinner) which was very nice, very close to the sanctuary, accommodation was fine. Hotel staff were also very helpful. There was a lovely atmosphere. Any questions? There was always someone available/accessible from the tour operator. Would gladly recommend Tangney Tours after our recent trip July 2018
