7 world class speakers bringing their knowledge and enthusiasm for a wide range of arts and artists, are bound to make for an exciting weekend. By the end of the 15 talks we had, I am sure, learned a great deal about the subjects, but also went away with one's interest stimulated to wish to discover more.

I have never been disappointed by the Martin Randall tours and weekends I have enjoyed. They are expensive, but the quality is definitely worth paying for.

it was a magical experience. With no administrative or logistical or financial worries at all we were free to concentrate on the wealth of history, culture, customs, agriculture, geology laid before us. We were introduced to some of the people and their modern way of life as well. The staff looked after us so well, the hotels and food were the best available, the transport was managed well. We were accompanied everywhere by a very knowledgeable guide lecturer as well as a tour manager and a local guide. I learned a lot and wish I could remember even half of it. I'm left with an impression of a nation proud of its past and confident of its future with an integrity rare today. A country of sublime beauty in its contrasting landscapes. I'm so glad I've seen Oman now and hope very much that they manage tourism sensitively in the future.

Martin Randall Travel escorts small (up to 22 usually) groups to places the ordinary tourist might miss. They specialise in music, history, archaeology and art, but this is just the starting point. Their tours are excellent value, and pretty full on. Don't expect a day in the sun on the beach. Accompanied by a guide lecturer and usually a tour manager, all the administrative problems are taken care of leaving the travellers to soak up everything laid before them. When MRT say everything is included they mean it, and what a relief it is not to have to worry about tipping or whether you have enough local currency left for dinner. It's an altogether luxurious experience and, if the subjects and location appeal, one you should definitely experience for yourselves.

Our weekend of music, cuisine and comfort at The Castle in Taunton was exceptional in every aspect, and we look forward to enjoying another Martin Randall tour in the future.

The Maltese Islands are under appreciated archeologically and they were a revelation. Good food, wonderful music, a superb lecturer, and unfailingly accomodating tour management made this an wonderful experience.

For us this is a regular event. We aim to go on at least two of these weekends every year. We stay at a fine hotel in Taunton where the food and accommodation is excellent, we have a group of internationally ranked musicians to provide four concerts and the services of a vary capable lecturer to introduce the music they perform.

We have travelled with MRT over 25 times in the last 15 years and would not consider using any other tour operator. They are the tops!
