Martin Randell Travel always provide excellent tours.

Visits to Muslim, Christian and Jewish sites in Malaga, Granada and Cordoba, and lectures, which illustrate the impact of the Moors on the architecture and culture of Andalucia from 711, until the expulsion of the Muslims and Jews in 1492. A rich, varied and complex story, which had profound impacts on the history of Europe. In depth, on-site commentary, analysis and insights from outstanding lecturer Dr Phillipa Joseph, supported by charming and competent tour manager Kate Fitzroy. A wonderful, enlightening holiday, revealing an area of history of which I was largely ignorant. A lovely group of fellow travellers and altogether, an excellent and memorable holiday which I would strongly recommend!

I learned a great deal about Spanish art from Xavier Bray, who wears his genius lightly. It was a well-planned and very enjoyable excursion through Spanish art beginning and ending with the medieval with Velasquez and Goya in the middle. It was my first visit to the Wallace Collection, of which Dr Bray is the Director. I will definitely return. The arrangements were excellent, from the travel to the food.

Martin Randall trips are expensive but the inclusion of so many items and the quality of the lecturers and guides is good value.

We have always enjoyed our Martin Randall Tours

To attend 4 operas in four nights we were accommodated in a high quality comfortable hotel near the centre o the city and bussed to the opera venues. All arrangements were efficiently and unobtrusively carried out. A musicologist provided informative and interesting lectures before each opera and during the day we were escorted around Berlin by the incredibly knowledgeable tour manager whose relaxed manner assured total confidence in the arrangements. Meals in a variety of restaurants were all very well judged for interest and quantity, all delicious.

Very professional and efficient, friendly and confidence-inspiring sd well as paying great attention to details of presentation.

For a morning in the V & A, and an afternoon in the British Museum my wife and I were treated to couple of fascinating talks on Chinese ceramics by a Martin Randall expert. As far as we were concerned, the talk could have gone on and on !

We have been on several Martin Randall tours, and we just do not know how they manage to keep up such a very high standard. Not just of the tours themselves which are superb, but also of the service backup. It seems that no problem is too small. They return calls when they say that they will. One speaks to a human being who takes ownership of the issue, so that one does not have to keep repeating oneself. If we could afford it, we'd be on a permament holiday with MRT.

A day tour of three. London Termini. Excellent value. Informative. Good fun.
