This was a most luxurious holiday. Good seats at wonderful operas. A 5 star hotel with great meals and an excellent lecturer.

Every detail in place; really top quality.

A comprehensive tour of many of the sites of Roman, Greek, Norman and Spanish origin. All well led by an excellent guide and helped by comfortable hotels with good food and wine. Confirmed that Sicily is a fascinating country to visit and Martin Randall laid on a very good tour.

Excellent as ever

We spent 10 days in Germany, visiting Berlin, Dresden & Leipzig. We attended the 4 opera's comprising Wagenr's Ring & learnt about his life. The historical and the operas' context was presented by 2 very erudite lecturers, maintaining the quality we have come to expect from Martin Randall Travel.

Normans in the South with Martin Randall was educational and entertaining, with good food in nice hotels (for the most part).

Martin Randall has both an academic lecturer and a know-the-region tour manager who work in concert to provide a superior tour. The descriptions before the tour are specific enough so that one knows what one has to look forward to; no unhappy surprises. Of course with travel, one has to always be flexible.

The format of the tour (A Music Festival in Florence, March 2017) was excellent: informative and engaging lectures every morning, a banquet of early music concerts, interspersed with fascinating walking tours/visits conducted by highly knowledgeable art historians. The venues for the concerts were also unique. What more could you ask for?

I've just returned from 'The Normans in the south'. A new part of Italy for me and worth pre-reading some of the history so what we saw and learnt made more sense. I'd no idea of the beautiful buildings - churches, castles of the C11 and 12 but now feel much better informed.

A great tour with a fabulous specialist ,great managers and everything run smoothly. Sites including Amristar,Chandigagh and Shima with special lunches and dinners at the homes of Maharajas and at historic hotels. Raaja is an expert on the British experience in India and we received really informative lectures . An in depth look at a very momentous time,in really fabulous surrounding. Good food and hotels..Highly recommend
