A two week self-guided tour of Japan with Inside Japan Tours. Covering the neon craziness of Tokyo all the way through to the majestic, beauty of Kyoto. A self-guided tour that allowed full independence and a feeling of self-discovery but safe in the knowledge that help was at hand should you need it. All aspects of the holiday were planned to perfection. The advice and info was invaluable and the suggestions for things to do were excellent. A perfect experience without a single complaint for the tour operator - such a rareity for planned holidays!

They listened to what we wanted, arranged our holiday round that and supplied everything we needed for the holiday to happen. I don't do many foreign holidays even close to home , but they gave me a worry free easy to follow holiday in Japan cvering a fair geographical area that we wanted and it was worry and hassle free.

I travelled solo but on a pre-arranged trip which was the best of both worlds: no worries about accomodation or travel but freedom to do exactly as I wished. I started in the bigger cities of Tokyo and Kyoto and then travelled through the Japanese Alps to Takayama and Yudanaka before flying for a self-drive holiday in Hokkaido.

Slow to respond but organised the perfect holiday with excellent recommendations, in particular they were able to respond to all of my requests for the holiday itinerary. Would highly recommend.

Our honeymoon to Japan was everything we hoped for. InsideAsia Tours was extremely helpful in itinerary recommendations, personalized guide books, and transparency in pricing and staying within our budget for our 12 day trip. We went to Tokyo, Hakone, Osaka, Kyoto, and Kanazawa. The public transportation was made much less daunting by the helpful tips and train times in our guide book. All the scheduled experiences were excellent and exactly what we wanted. Couldn't have been happier with our perfect honeymoon!

My grandmother and I went to Japan in late March/early April to see Cherry Blossoms, and we were not disappointed! Over the course of our holiday we saw them everywhere, from just opening to falling on the ground, and all in several different varieties. A twelve-day tour that took us from Tokyo, to Hakone, Kyoto, Miyajima, to Osaka, and back to Tokyo. Travelling from place to place was a little rushed at times since it was such a short holiday for so many places. However, so glad to visit them all. During our first stay in Tokyo we had a private four hour (half-day) guided tour around the city, and a private eight hour (full day) guided tour during our stay in Kyoto, but apart from that we were alone. Everything was easy to manage thanks to Inside Japan Tours's "Info-Pack" which gives details about many things like which trains to board, places of interest/accommodation and how to reach them. Overall, a very great holiday that will always be remembered.

Inside Japan Tours is the best company to travel with. They are so knowledgeable about pretty much everything in Japan - cities, accommodation, places of interest/sightseeing spots, etc. It was a piece of mind booking with them, knowing that they know what they're doing, while still being able to include all of my requests. Also, their "Info-Pack" is incredibly helpful- it stores all the knowledge you need to know during your trip!

I traveled to Japan for a motorcycle tour and then stayed on to experience Kyoto and the kumano kodo pilgrimage trail. I relied on Inside Japan for that second portion of my trip and they exceeded my expectations in quality and value. It was great to stay in local accommodations and everything, from a half day private guide in Kyoto to train tickets and detailed hiking instructions, went off without a hitch. I ran into a few other people using other services and, especially in the kumano kodo, their trip information and organization was not nearly as comprehensive. My lodgings in quaint small town Ryokan were excellent. Luggage forwarding was smooth and reliable. Inside Japan's attention to details allowed me to make the most of my limited time soaking in the culture and beauty of Japan. I will definitely be using their services again and have recommended them to friends without reservation.

We travelled around Japan for 14 days. Visiting Tokyo, Hakone, Hiroshima,Kyoto, Osaka, and Takayama. It was a wonderful introduction to this beautiful country which seems to effortlessly fuse the old with the new. We had so much fun travelling around using the hyper reliable and comfortable Bullet trains. We have been back home for two weeks and wish we were still in Japan!

Inside Japan were amazing. They tailored the trip to our needs. The accommodation they booked for us was excellent. They organised our train tickets and guided tours. The itinerary they supplied was indispensable. they had an emergency number in Japan to ring if we got into trouble (which we didn't because the guide book they supplied was so good

Flew to Osaka for 2 days. Went to Sumo tournament. Explored city. Went to Kyoto for 3 days. Explored. Went a bit more rural for a week culminating in an excellent couple of days in an Onsen Ryokan near the Snow Monkey park in Yudanaka, Finished off with 4 days in Tokyo. Barely scratched the surface of all there is to do in Japan but was a fine first visit that we crammed a huge amount into. Highlights: The food, guided tours, Studio Ghibli, Taiko drumming lesson, Soba noodle making class. Inside Japan sorted all the accommodation and transport and various tours.

Good website. Personal service. Provided load of useful information and ideas. Efficient booking of hotels and transport and packaging of essential information.

Our trip started in Tokyo, where we attended Anime Japan, followed by days traveling the city. We then spent a night at the hot springs in Hakone. After, we moved on to Kyoto and explored the many shrines and castles. We spent a short time in Osaka, seeing the fashion scene and trying the food there. Finally, we ended back in Tokyo, where we stopped in a few more locations before having to fly home.

Our tour operator organized all of our hotels and the majority of our transportation. We never had any problems checking in or out of hotels or using the train passes provided. The operator also included several passes for events we had stated we wished to attend, and there was only one incident of those tickets not working properly, which was solved by a phone call to the operator and from there everything went smoothly.

An incredible ten night trip around Myanmar; visiting Mandalay, Bagan, Kalaw, Inle Lake and Yangon. An amazing and diverse country with a wealth of sites, both historical and cultural and currently undergoing massive political change, delivered an unforgettable trip.
