The holiday was very well organised. We had an excellent local guide who made sure we made the most of our holiday. There was never any need to worry about anything, it all just happened as promised. Meg, the guide included everyone in the group, she checked on everyones well being and provided help and support. The tour was fast paced and we packed in a lot of experiences. Never a chance to be bored. There was always the opportunity for peole to explore on their own and help was available to do this. The hotels were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were plentiful and of a very good quality. with Japanese and western alternatives. There were 14 people on the holiday who all got on extremely well and this made it great fun. Japan is country of contrasts: crazy Tokyo, thought provoking Hiroshima , beautiful gardens and the majesty of the mountains. The Budhist guest house and sunrise Temple experience will stay with me forever. Who ever new the number of different toilets available.

Inside Japan privided an excellent service from my initial encounter at a introduction to Japan talk, to booking in April 2019 and the nightmare of Covid 10 weeks before departure. I was kept informed and given the option to cancel on many occaisions without cost. The price agreed in 2019 was never increased. The holiday went without a hitch and all I had to do was present myself in reception in a morning and my day was taken care of. I was provided with comprehensive information about the tour and places we visited. Excellent general information provided about food, customs and the language.

Travelled with a friend to visit another friend from our school days who lives in Tokyo with her husband. We wanted to spend time with them and so chose Golden Week to start our holiday. Our travel company had lots of suggestions on how to plan our holiday so that we could spend time visiting with friends and travel too other areas. The brochure was really helpful in giving us ideas of potential travel areas as well as activities we might enjoy. The trip was planned very well. All information and guide/itinerary provided were structured and organised so that we were to travel fairly independently from city to city. It was well paced and offered structure to our journey but also enough downtime so we didn't feel overwhelmed or exhausted. We had activities included that added to the whole different culture experience, such as cooking classes in different cities. The whole experience, especially for myself, who had never travelled so far was superb.

The holiday was delayed, as were many peoples due to the covid pandemic. Despite this our travel company kept us informed and liaised with us regularly. We originally planned the holiday face to face in their offices, but once we were able to travel again and rebooked the holiday, we met via Zoom/Teams and found this extremely convenient. The planning and documentation provided have been brilliant. I honestly couldn't fault the company. They were able to arrange an extension of our final hotel due to a flight delay with BA meaning we didn't have to even change rooms. The supply of mobile devices were also very reliable and enabled us to keep in touch with everyone at home easily.

We chose to travel with Inside Japan as they took over the organising and planning that we didn't have much time to do ourselves. It meant that practically everything was arranged for when we arrived including travel tickets, wi-fi devices and accommodation so that we could just enjoy the holiday.

Inside Japan helped plan the itinerary, arrange transfers, accommodation and travel whilst in Japan that it was an invaluable service - as all of this was arranged when we arrived it meant we could relax and enjoy the experience.

Having always been a solo traveller, I was apprehensive about booking a tour, even a small group one. However my granddaughter and I planned this adventure together three years ago, before Covid changed everyone's plans, and I needn't have worried! The group we travelled with was full of like-minded, interesting people, and the level of organisation by InsideJapan meant that everything ran smoothly. A special shout-out to our tour leader, Brett, whose knowledge and enthusiasm enhanced everything about the tour. So much was packed into every day of the tour that we truly felt we received value for money!

We went to Japan for the first time and could not have timed it better for the cherry blossom. It was a beautiful and interesting place to visit. There was so much to see that we walked miles. We had a great mix of modern cities, mountains and temples with wonderful local guides and lots of delicious food.

Aaron from Inside Japan was really good at listening to what we wanted from our trip and put together a great itinerary for us. He ran through it all and answered our questions and once in Japan everything went to plan. We felt really well equipped with our accommodation, trains, wifi, guides and city guides. The suggestions and recommendations helped us make the most of the time we had in Japan. We had one issue when we needed to ask the Japan-based team for help and they sorted it straight away.

A very well structured bespoke tour organised for a group of x10 people by Inside Japan which included mainly walking and some sightseeing in cities via the use of public transport. It involved a true Japanese experience of their food and culture

Inside Japan provided excellent information prior and during the trip and encouraged feedback so that they can continually improve on their high quality. Nothing was too much trouble.

A perfect itinerary to see the spectacular Japan, constantly moving we crammed a lot into 2 weeks. Between each location we had time to rest on the incredible bullet trains. Food, people and culture were unlike any place I’ve been before - and I travel a lot.

Felt very looked after. The inside Japan consultant provided a good mix with the a variety of accommodation that was just right. Listened to what we wanted to do and see and tweaked the itinerary to match. Very responsive.

It was the most fantastic experience. Such wonderful people only too willing to help, no matter how limited their English language. We loved the food, it was an integral part of our trip. Japan is so clean and very easy to travel around without a group, stations all have English signs. It was a great idea to have a guide in the bigger cities, particularly Tokyo. The luggage forwarding system was excellent and very economical and a must for solo travellers who are not back packing.

Inside Japan booked our flights, accommodation and most train/bus tickets for us, and provided an excellent A5 info pack that we used day to day. Their consultants and local Japanese office provided outstanding service. It was a great idea to have a guide in the bigger cities, particularly Tokyo.

We had an amazing two weeks on our self guided tour to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Everything we wanted was provided but we still felt independent enough to explore freely. Food, travel, accommodation all perfect and we want to go back very soon!!
