Kyrgyzstan, a land of superlatives

The itinerary covered the best landmarks of this stunningly beautiful Central Asia country. Mostly mountainous, this is a country for Nature lovers. It is also culturally diversified with a historically rich past, where remnants of the old Silk Road can still be found, like the caravanserai Tash Rabat.

Fascinating area, high quality tour

We visited Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia with Wild Frontiers. It was an excellent tour, the area is very interesting, with much complex history, dramatic landscapes and a culture of generous hospitality. This was my first holiday with Wild Frontiers, I was very impressed with them and will definitely travel with them again.

Suryaveer gave us the best experience possible. He is knowledgeable of all the cultural aspects of our trip. We were in Srinagar at a difficult time and he saw to it that we made it to our destination.

Madagascar off the beaten track

Extremely well organised circuit in the middle of Madagascar in 4-wheel drive cars with only 3 passengers per car by a very professional tour teader and his local team. The local guide was very good as were the skills of the local drivers.. Most fascinating circuit to discover the peoples of Madagascar, their habitat, their environment and e beautiful landscapes along the way.

Beautiful Montenegro riding trip

I went for a riding trip in Montenegro with Wild Frontiers in June. This was my first time in Montenegro and I was pleasantly surprised. The country is beautiful with lots of verdant hills, meandering river, lakes and wild flowers. The water is so clean that you can fill up your water bottle from the mountain streams. Most importantly, the people were extremely friendly and hospitable. The wines they make there are very drinkable and good value...

Most importantly, the people were extremely friendly and hospitable. The wines they make there are very drinkable and good value. I wanted to bring a couple of bottles back but was worried about them breaking in my suitcase. This was another great adventure holiday with Wild Frontiers. We had a lovely group (maybe I was lucky or maybe people who book riding trips with Wild Frontiers are likely to be nice). We were looked after very well and I felt wonderfully relaxed after the trip.

Rating for tour operator:

Wild Frontiers looked after us very well. They are not just good at organising great trips but their staff are very helpful and tour guides great fun to be with on trips.

Fantastic

Venezuela is an amazing country: don't be put off by reports of chaos. Catatumbo lightning display was amazing as was variety of birds seen at Los Lanos. The dragon like noise made by the oil bird in a cave was like nothing I've ever heard before. Highlight was canoe trip then hike to Angel Falls. Not easy but not too hard; as an only slightly fit 70 year old I made it!

Highlights of Georgia.

A trip through the varied and stunning scenery of a small country finding its way to political freedom. The history is involving, the people welcoming and generous, the countryside varies from warm plains to lush valleys to high snow-capped mountains. Beautiful old monasteries and nunneries abound in a very religious country.
