India - hill stations to Kasmir

This was a group holiday visiting Shimla, Dharamsala, Amritsar, Kashmir and Delhi. The guide was excellent, accommodation and transport very comfortable and of high standard. The tour operater was excellent and would highly recommend. It was a busy tour which enabled us to maximise our time in India and included overnight train journey and some off the beaten track experiences.

Rating for tour operator:

wild frontiers are a small independent company with strong ethics and excellent knowledge of India. Holidays include all food and good quality accommodation, transport and activities. This means there are no hidden extras or "optional" trips. The small group size also works well

Wonderful walking trip to Montenegro

I went on a 8 days walking trip with Wild Frontiers to Montenegro. I had a wonderful time and came back fully recharged. Montenegro is surprisingly beautiful and the people incredibly friendly. The guide we had was just superb, patient and knowledgeable. We had a lovely group of 10 and all got on brilliantly. The itinerary was very well thought out, balanced in the amount of exercise we got and culture we experienced.

Walking in Montenegro

A fabulous week exploring this wonderful country. Walking through stunning and varied landscape and enjoying local hospitality along the way and finishing off with a stay in the charming town of Kotor really gives an insight into the simple beauty of Montenegro. Thoroughly recommended.

Wild Frontiers review

Wild Frontiers was fantastic. They had great attention to detail with lots of extras like boat trips, banquet lunch at a honey farm and swimming in lakes. We didn't have to think about anything as Wild Frontiers had thought of it all. All our meals were in different places and a lot of imagination had been used to ensure that we saw the real Montenegro.

Best kept secret

Rural Kyrgyzstan was amazing. I specifically chose this tour for its rural coverage. Coming from country Australia we are not city lovers but love to see different cultures. We certainly saw that by staying in yurts and having some home stays, visiting local markets to see their livestock sales, horse riding, walking, wild camping, and picnics by fast flowing glacial rivers. Rating for tour operator:

Wild Frontiers was wonderful having both a Tour leader and tour guide throughout. We traveled in 2 mini buses so all of us got a window seat, we weren't cramped and when flat tires occurred due to the rough road conditions it was not a problem as the other driver and vehicle helped out.

Brilliantly organised and wonderful week.

We spend a wonderful weeek in Montenegro exploring many of the less visited parts. The scenery was beautiful and the walking great. It was extremely well organised and we were able to visit and experience parts of the country we would never have found on our own. It was most enjoyable.

Journey to Ladakh by Ronno, 25 Aug 2016

Wonderful company

Journey to Ladakh India. Toy Train to Shimla, negotiating some scary rough roads with stunning views to cross the highest road passes in the world. Organisation of the trip was superb with all meals and water included. Our guide went well beyond the call of duty to ensure any difficulties were overcome, and also to include things not in the itinerary.

This was my first trip with Wild Frontiers, and having been with several other companies over the years, it is refreshing to find a company that treats you as a person, includes all meals and drinking water, and has a guide that in my opinion is second to none.
