From start to finish it was everything I'd hoped it would be. The whole pilgrimage was well planned and everything ran very smoothly. The hotel was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the food was excellent. The whole holiday uplifted me spiritually and I felt relaxed and happy. I came home thoroughly rejuvenated. Definately a holiday to be repeated.

I travelled with Tangney Tours and I can thoroughly recommend them. I've never been so well looked after from begining of holiday to end. My fellow travellors was of the same mind with lots of praises made daily.

This pilgrimage was our first trip to Rome and we loved it. The hotel was excellent, the itinerary covered everything we could have hoped for and our wonderful tour guide made the whole pilgrimage go so smoothly. Assisi was the ideal end to the week, contrasting the noise and bustle of Rome with the peace and beauty of the birthplace of St Francis.

Sinead was the perfect tour guide: everything felt well organised and nothing was too much trouble. I used a wheelchair while on pilgrimage and particularly appreciated Sinead's assistance in hiring the chair as well as her advice on what was, and was not wheelchair accessible.

I went to Fatima in the month of June with a friend and had a very nice pilgrimage. I have travelled with Tangney Tours many times to Lourdes and also to Fatima. The tour is very nice and the guide is always very helpful. The accommodation is good and clean, the food is very good. I am also thinking of going to Lourdes for Christmas.

The tour operator is always helpful and willing to help with all our enquiries, I have always been fully satisfied with the service and overall everything is excellent.

I'd never been to Lourdes. I was looking forward to everything about it, especially staying in a 4* hotel with full board. The food was quite disappointing, along with the dining service. The first 3 days, our English speaking group was provided with a waiter who spoke NO English whatsoever. The food itself was very ordinary, with no other choices if one couldn't eat what was on offer for whatever reason. The waiting staff also ignored our area of the restaurant at times, leaving us waiting far too long for our meals or other needs. A few of us were caring for the sick, so had a limited time due to shifts, and one of us is diabetic, so needed food as soon as she arrived. These things were not considered at all, and staff were impatient when they finally did attend. The location of the hotel Solitude was great. The layout of the hotel was great. People often smoked cigarettes right outside the front door, so the smoke went straight in the front door, and also filled the air right outside, which was distressing for me, as I am quite allergic to the smoke. I suggest that they be encouraged to go elsewhere, perhaps a designated area further from the front door. The excursions that were offered sounded lovely, but I couldn't believe that there was a further cost for them, as I had already paid an extortionate amount for my holiday, and felt that they should have been included for the price.

Not around enough. Should bring things with him/her to show us what is on offer. Didn't seem very interested in what she was there to do, was there and gone as quickly as possible.

Tangney Tours organised a tour of the lower Rhone region with the outward journey by Eurostar first class we travelled back to Lourdes where we visited another winery before boarding another first class private jet to Stansted

I have taken a number of AITO holidays and they are always enjoyable, everything is taken care of even for large groups which takes all the stress out of organising it.

I always use Tangney Tours for group bookings. The pre trip planning and information is always excellent. Their local knowledge and guides are exceptional and in the event of an emergency their response is second to none. I have always received absolutely invaluable support throughout any trip I have planned with them and the personal service is an additional luxury. Wouldn't book a group trip without them.

Lourdes 2016, brilliant, beautiful and an opportunity to see the Catholic church at its best. Every aspect of the pilgrimage from travel to hotel to standard of accommodation and last but not least the welcome and patient care given to all by Tagney Tours staff was first class.

We were accompanied throughout with a knowledgeable and helpful rep.
