Excellent from start to finish Hotel accommodation was lovely and clean, food also very good Transfer was spot on with timings Only blip was airplane was 90mins late going to Lourdes

Quite expensive for what we got
Although we had a lovely time on the pilgrimage, the situation left a lot to be desired with regard to meal times. When you are a captive audience you hope that the food provided meets expectations. It did not. We opted to go vegetarian this year as last year the bland meat meals left a lot to be desired. Being vegetarian left even more. There was little planning with mainly just the bit of meat removed from the plate. We were not allowed ...
Although we had a lovely time on the pilgrimage, the situation left a lot to be desired with regard to meal times. When you are a captive audience you hope that the food provided meets expectations. It did not. We opted to go vegetarian this year as last year the bland meat meals left a lot to be desired. Being vegetarian left even more. There was little planning with mainly just the bit of meat removed from the plate. We were not allowed access to the full breakfast buffet so there was no hot food for our party. There were nowhere near enough serving staff at mealtimes (often just one poor harassed individual) so mealtimes went on forever. In the end we ended up eating out a lot of times thus paying for our meals a second time - not good value for money. Overall the hotel is not good value for money based on how miserable mealtimes made people. There is much to be improved there.
We did not have a lot of contact with our tour operator so I cannot rate them any higher. However, their liaison with Ryanair to get our assisted pilgrims boarded at both ends of the flight was inadequate and therefore some assisted pilgrims had a traumatic time. This is not good enough.

thank you for your feedback. This hotel has been used for many years by the pilgrims and they have always thoroughly enjoyed it. We also visit the hotel each day during meal times to ensure everything is going to plan. We would have been delighted to discuss the matter directly with you if you had raised it in resort.

Overall the pilgrimmage was lovely, but I was stressed about having no luggage and had to find replacements, borrow off friends.
It was a lovely pilgrimage, great hotel. decent weather. All overshadowed by having none of my belongings and indication of when or if it might arrive.

My luggage never arrived at Lourdes airport and while the staff from Tangney asssisted me to report it they didn't offer much other help.

Great Customer Service
It was wonderful. The hotel was clean. The food was delicious at all times. The staff were very friendly. The weather was warm and sunny most of the time.

Tangney Tours is a great organisation with good holiday reps! I would like to travel with them on pilgrimage again!

Everything went according to plan. We found the guide, places and hotels very good
An absolutely fascinating holiday. Wonderful to go to many of the places where our Lord taught and lived. It has brought scripture to life.

Provided us with all the necessary information when needed. Organised with our party exactly where we wanted to go. The coach operator was terrific!

From start to finish we were looked after by your staff. The trip was extremely well organised in Lourdes. Only had an issue with baggage handlers at Edinburgh airport.

Linda who was based at Beau Site Hotel Lourdes France was an amazing tour guide. Friendly and so approachable. Took care of our every need.

Me and my Wife hade visited Israel Holy Tour via Tagney Tours and our local church. The experience was way beyond our expectations our hotel stay was lovely with delicious food. The pilgrimage was great experience. Overall we had the best time of our life!

Our operator was Honest and well spoken we never had pro lems with language and easy to understand

Wonderful pilgrimage experience in Lourdes.
Tangney Tours organised transport from central Birmingham to Lourdes. The coaches were comfortable and did remarkably well as they were travelling on two holiday weekends. The hotel Saint Sébastien in Lourdes was excellent. Staff were vey courteous and as helpful as possible Food was very good. Hotel was clean and well maintained. The general friendliness of the hotel was to be commended.

The tour operator arranged the hotel stay and transport efficiently and liaised effectively with the diocesan authorities who were arranging the pilgrimage.

Lovely staff, poor food
The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a good position to be able to walk to the sights. The down side was the quality of the food. Very boring, repetative and not nutritious.

Having rung them before hand to check on airport assistance there wasnt any arranged when we arrived at the airport but a grumpy man did finally help. Three calls made beforehand about our tickets not arriving. Finally the day before we were due to fly Tangney did email us some. When we arrived back we did contact Tangney about the problems and someone contacted us from the company to us to put everything in writing which we did, but since then weve heard nothing from Tangney.
