We spent four days in Lourdes as an 80th birthday present which included staying at the excellent Eliseo Hotel.

From start to finish we received an excellent service from Tangney Tours. We were met on arrival at Lourdes Airport by Linda Doran who was very welcoming and friendly. The Eliseo Hotel was recommended by Tangney Tours and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the Sanctuary. Linda took us on daily tours and she was extremely knowledgeable of the life and history of Bernadette. She provided an exceptional experience whilst we were in Lourdes. We would highly recommend Tangney Tours based on our recent pilgrimage and are looking to forward to going back again. Visiting the Sanctuary and the Grotto was a truly unbelievable experience which was thoroughly enjoyed by our group.

The written word became reality as we visited biblical sites and our Spiritual leader put into context the significance of what we were witnessing with mention and reference to the Holy Bible.

Tangney generally have connection with good and well informed people when composing their tours. Accommodation was fine with adequate cuisine . The itinery was a full one and due to the number of visitors at Holy sites. We were fortunate to have been provided with a savvy tour guide ( Majiid ) who was able to vary the daily schedule to minimise inconvenience caused by traffic and crowds.

The pilgrimage met all our expectations. The hotel however was a little disappointing. I accept that the tour company had to change hotels at the last moment due to redecoration, but our hotel whilst charging for half board did not have dining facilities in the evening and we had to eat out in a local restaurant who give no choice of food for either course and with poor service.

Very well organised with excellent customer service. All trips again well managed with the whole tour supervised and organised by an excellent courier.

Order of Malta Pilgrimage. ..sadly French air traffic control delayed our departure home but Tangney kept us updated and got us back as soon as was possible.Tangney always fully support us whatever the eventuality

It was a privilege to walk in Jesus’s footsteps, incredible and moving experience. Tangney Tours provides an excellent service and itinerary, fitting in many visits.

Excellent service from start to finish. Itinerary was full and we managed to stick to schedule. Even fitted an unexpected trip. Guide was very knowledgeable. One improvement would have been to include lunch.
