Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Tangney Tours was good

Great trip to Lourdes which all went very smoothly.

Good service for booking and at the airports.

As Birmingham City University was sending 2 staff and 4 students ,only one of which booked through Tangney (the other affiliates) it is not straight forward and quite stressful, especially as Kath White who was aware of the arrangements left part way through. I phoned the office and the call handler was unable to assist. However close to our departure Trish from the Diocesan office was able to liase with Nicholas and arrange accomodation for myself and my colleague.

I was aware that there was oversight onto the first flight and Nicholas was on the coach to Lourdes airport for our return flight.

The Hotel looked after us well and supplied us with a lovely candle that Tangey helped us to order. The only concern with the hotel was the seeming lack of understanding of dietary requirements (which could be very serious in the case of allergies).

Tangey staff were very helpful and friendly and always responded to every enquiry swiftly. The itinerary and all aspects of the organisation was very well managed. Much prefer the Portsmouth - Caen sailing! The only small complaint was that our coach was significantly older than the other coaches departing from St. Chad's, lacking portable chargers and with significantly less leg room and space. The coach was difficult to spend such a long time on because of the smaller space.

Lived up to my expectations. Everyone so friendly. Once again able to meet old friends and make new ones.

One of the directors joined our pilgrimage and knew the names of several pilgrims including myself. Couldn’t more personal service. Well done Tangney

We had a very rewarding trip. The travel was well organised and there were no issues at the hotel despite my husband and I being booked to leave on different days.

I was impressed by the communications with Tangney as well as their flexibility when a change of date was needed.

Yes I enjoyed the pilgrimage and it was well organised your staff were extremely helpful while the hotel was first class the food on two nights was rubbish I could not eat it and went out to eat and I wasn’t the only one to say so

The operator could not be more helpful as I’m a wheelchair user they seen to all my needs both at Birmingham airport and Lourdes airport I would definitely use them again

Visiting Lourdes was a wonderful experience. It was not something I ever expected to encounter but am so glad I did.
