We had a 2 hour delay (sitting in the plane on runway). Flight landed at Bastia instead of Calvi (due to Calvi airport being closed due to the flight delay). Almost 2 hours to get everyone back to Calvi. Hungry people arriving at Bed & Breakfast hotels. Rep should have given us all time to buy food at the airport before the transfer! I guess all down to time scales but people arrived without having eaten properly since around mid-day. We arrived at our hotel around 11pm. However, once we had a sleep and food in the morning... the rest of the holiday was lovely.

Corsican Places sent us all the information we needed for our holiday in a very nice wallet to keep everything together. The rep the other end made herself known but maybe could have advised us all to buy some food/drinks for the transfer of almost 2 hours. We had all just had a 2 hour flight delay with one drink and a biscuit on the plane. The rep told us that Corsican Places would be contacting us about our outward journey to Calvi.

Days relaxing in the quiet by the pool, travelling to the beautiful local beaches so many to choose from, superb food in Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio and the highlight has to be the river swimming in TAGLIO ROSSU.

Corsican holidays - We have travelled with them about 4 times now to Corsica and Sardinia and they are by far and away the best travel operator - helpful, quick and supportive at both ends of the holiday.

Excellent short break to recharge our batteries, excellent accommodation and pretty blue-water bay

Two weeks in the small coastal town of Calvi, staying in an apartment. The beach was close at hand and a local rail service ran along the coastline, offering access to other small towns in the area.

Wonderful walking, at times strenuous. There was a great sense of achievement after climbing and we were rewarded to see the amazing views of sea and mountains. Loved the climbs down to the beaches and walks along the river. Just beautiful and most of the time we felt the island was our own. As the week progressed we knew we would always get a great hotel and a clean room offering fab views and balcony., with a lovely dining room and pool. We really got a feeling that the holiday had been put together with great care and attention, as if a fellow walker knew exactly what we would be looking for. We would love to travel to the south next time and continue the trail.

The company is obviously very proud of the island and they go to great lengths to arrange for keen walkers to see and enjoy as much as possible, We would love to travel to the south next time and continue the trail.

Despite French ground staff on strike in Corsica and a 7hour 15minute flight delay our rep managed to organise transport to our holiday destination, an admiral job in difficult circumstances. Superb location, lovely hotel and wonderful staff.

I have used Serenity on three occasions, always professional and helpful would use again.

A package holiday for a week, including flights from Southampton to Bastia, a villa in the hills, and a brand new hire car from AVIS. Accommodation about an hour's drive from the airport, and set in beautiful countryside, with a private pool, and everything we'd need. We didn't want to leave, but hey-ho...

Corsican Places (Serenity). This was the 4th time we've traveled with them, and every time has been a pleasurable experience. The booking process and after-care service is excellent, and, when needed, the Rep sorted out issues very quickly. Only criticism was with the directions to the property, which are out-of-date, but this was very minor.

This was our second trip to Corsica, having previously stayed in Calvi on a hotel holiday with Corsican Villa. This time, we stayed in a villa in St. Florent. Other than an issue with the departure time of our flight, every other aspect of the holiday was excellent, including the car hire, the comfort of the villa and the proximity to Srt. Florent town centre
