A week to get some winter sun and much needed vitamin D. It was a very smooth experience from start to finish. All staff very friendly and there was no pressure to buy extras or excursions

All very smooth.

We had another excellent holiday at Ocean Bay Hotel, Cape Point, The Gambia. The suite had been decorated and the bathroom replaced since last year. Friendly staff and the best swimming pool in The Gambia.

Great service. Easy to deal with and very helpful. Gambia Experience are excellent at every stage from booking onwards. They answer the phone quickly and the agent can usually deal with most questions directly. If she passes a question to her manager, she always calls back.

Overbooking by Hilton and the noisy building work next door spoilt 2+ days of our week. The stress involved in getting our room changed was the last thing we needed.

Booking and admin was very good. Local rep also. Shame about the hotel problems.

5 times at the Sunbeach before it closed and twice since it re-opened 2017. Feb 2019 was the best yet. Hope to return many times in the future

Gambia Experience has every eventually covered

Spent 4 nights in the mountains of Santiago . Our daily walks showed us the real way of life and we experienced the "real Africa feel" Followed this with 9 nights all-inclusive beach resort on Boa Vista-Just what the doctor ordered!

Cape Verde Experience were polite,helpful and experienced with my initial enquiry all the way through to booking and receiving the documentation. First class treatment.

We stayed for 6 nights at Senegambia Hotel and then a private transfer over to Mandina Lodges for our last night. Both hotels were very different from each other but provided an excellent experience. Couldn't help noticing how lovely, smiley and helpful all the staff were in each hotel.

The Gambia Experience have thought of everything. I can't fault them in any way and just knowing that they are there to help whatever may happen during your holiday really does help you to relax.

Two weeks of total relaxation in The Gambia.

Gambia Experience are brilliant for our needs in The Gambia. Professional service is provided and very good local staff in the resorts, they are very available and easy to talk to.

Mix of beach, travel and family visiting. A wonderful holiday in all respects . We will return

Gambia Experience

Initial flight delayed 5hr due to weather. We still would have been in time (by 2.25hrs) for our previously advised 21:30 transfer to Santiago, but for some non-advised reason flight details had changed to 18:30 so we had to spend a first unscheduled night on Santiago. This delayed transit to Santiago when there was no direct flight, so wasted more time flying via San Vincente. The welcome meeting was therefore not until 10am the following day.. Excursions were arranged OK but we had lost a whole day. Once into the excursions, these were excellent experiencing and seeing various elements of primarily African culture. However, departure time was at odds between pre-advised travel information and that which was on documents received in Sal.

Booking and pre-flight info seemed good. However, as mentioned above there were some transit and organisational issues which were not expected and did not appear necessary.

I enjoyed the wonderful warm and sunny climate and the equally warmness of the Gambians on the whole. I have visited The Gambia several times now and it is a particularly good place to visit during the British winter months when it is dark and cold. The flight is fairly short compared to other warm winter holiday sun destinations, there is no time difference and English is a known language to the locals.

The Gambia Experience cannot be faulted, they are efficient and attentive to the traveller's needs.
