Gambia Experience - very organised

Holiday was fabulous. Good hotel, good accommodation, staff were welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Entertainment was good and nightly. Lots of sun beds with no reserved spaces which was great if you didn’t go to the pool til late. Hassle free holiday and will definitely be returning before the end of the year with all of our family. Loving the new African princess hotel Spa and gym facilities were excellent and would highly recommend lisa (beauty salon) and also Sam the waiter

Great holiday at Kairaba for 7 days and 3 days at Fathala. Over in Africa a guide/rep is needed to stop the hassle from locals. Better prices for tours found outside

Chris Packham brought magic to this trip with his in-depth knowledge of Birds, Wildlife and The Gambian countryside. We explored, on foot and by boat, discovering the most beautiful and interesting birds. The sun shone, the hotels and surroundings were beautiful, People were welcoming and friendly and the food good... I thoroughly enjoyed this trip, and will return.

Efficient, friendly, and very helpful replying to general questions I had about the holiday area. Makes such a difference when you deal with a tour operator you have confidence in. All in all an excellent holiday from booking through to the actual holiday experience (and I don't often say that!).

In general we had a great holiday. Our accomodation was excellent although, had a few teathing problems that you may expect with a new hotel. It's a great hotel if you want peace and quiet, easy access to the beach and local restaurants.

Pre-holiday information was very informative. Our resort rep, Karamo, was very proffessional yet had a very good sense of humour. He was very helpful in organising trips and arranging local birdwatching guides. To and from resort transport was punctual and the driver was very safe.

We were returning to the Coco Ocean in Gambia for the fourth time with Gambia Experience (tenth time if you include other hotels we have stayed at in Gambia). The hotel is undoubtedly our favourite destination, offering luxury and comfort, great food, wonderful weather, no time difference with the UK, and friendly people

As noted above we have used Gambia Experience ten times now and we would not think of going back to Gambia, which we will, without using their services. They are enormously helpful, friendly and efficient. Even when we experienced some payment problems because of our particular situation which was living in Germany but paying through a UK Bank, they bent over backwards to sort out the issues. They are also the most experienced and respected travel operator for the Gambia and this is very important in the event of any slight problems whilst there.

Both Ngala Lodge in the Gambia and The Paillotte Village in south Senegal offered high standard of accommodation and restaurant services in attractive grounds new the beach.

We had a good service from Gambian Experience though they need to provide more information in English to supplement that available in the French-speaking Senegal hotel.

Overall a very good holiday. We eat out at the local restaurants and enjoyed the entertainment during the evening at the Senegambia. The breakfasts in the hotel was good. The room was very good. Two incidents of not supplying beach towels and not being able to go to bed because of lack of duvet covers were incredibly annoying. The hotel management is inept.

We have been on various holidays with the Gambia Experience many times and their service and arrangements are always superb.

A week to get some winter sun and much needed vitamin D. It was a very smooth experience from start to finish. All staff very friendly and there was no pressure to buy extras or excursions
