2 week b&b in the Gambia. Excellent hotel best breakfast in the area. Lovely staff lots of excursions. Love the people- need a guide to show you around local places. Plenty of restaurants to visit good quality

Check in at LGW not good and flight took off 50m late (But, sadly, this seems to be the norm for Gatwick these days!) Hotel good, except for some attitude issues with some of the reception staff. Facilities, pool, beach, half day island excursion and Santa Maria all excellent

We booked with Cape Verde Experience and they arranged excellent accommodation at the Sal Cabo Verde Hilton, transfers and airport lounge access were included. The monopoly of of TUI for flights to Cape Verde meant that the holiday was spoiled by the check-in, seat allocation and service on the flights. The layout and ventilation in the aircraft were bordering on in human. Three Lavatories for 240 people (when not blocked). Poor ventilation at the rear of the plane, my wife feinted. Access to the lavatories continually blocked by refreshment carts.

Cape Verde provided a good on-line reservation system and travel documentation. Their representatives on arrival did not respond to our complaints about outward flight. The representative for the return eventually helped on the day we left. Value for money looks poor when I compare withe independent travel.

We travelled to Gambia with The Gambia Experience who we have used before, and always found to be excellent. However this holiday was spoilt by their use of an inferior airline that has zero customer service, and a flight delay of four hours going, due to a technical hitch, and check in staff plus cabin crew that showed no concern at all. The attitude at the gate was awful, no one told us what was going on, and we felt the representatives looked at us with contempt The return flight was also delayed by two hours we don't know why, we weren't told anything and didn't even get an apology.

They are very good at organising your holiday, and their hotels are chosen well with a good selection of board bases, and room choice, the select your seat at booking is great along with clear baggage options. Unfortunately their choice of charter company for flights needs looking into this along with their representation at both Gatwick and Banjul airports leaves a lot to be desired.

Self catering holiday to Corsica, arranged to include Car Hire and fights. All went according to plan, car hire pick up, apartment, and all travel arrangements worked like clockwork. Weather was great for mid september, temperatures as expected at 27/28C. Nice time to go to avoid the crowds.
