Beautiful Corsica

Corsica is truly beautiful, we enjoyed walking in the lower hills with flowers everywhere. Calvi is a lovley destination, with lovely sea, sand, port, citadelle, shops, bars cafes etc. Le Home is a lovely place to stay. We found the holiday very relaxing but with enough to do.

Gambia Honey Beekeeping Trail

I had a relaxing time in Gambia though I was on a mission to meet Beekeepers as I had a article to write for Bee Development. I visited the Methodist Church on Maunday Thursday and attended a service. I met the Bishop Hannah Caroline Faal-Heim which was special twice and I will be writing a article on my trip to Gambia. I did bring some film DVDs for Sheilk Omar Jallow Director of Films & Literature National Centre for Arts & Culture. I ...

I also visited twice Africa Start up my farm which was very interesting development to help people from seed to business.

Gambia Experience - Titan airline Gambian Experience are professional. If there was problems with my safe, key and air conditioning leaking in my room at Coco Ocean I raised it up and it was sorted the key took a few days and had to pass to housekeepers so they need another spare key and the holder put on as you can easily lose the key. Hole in the mosquito net which if there were mosquitos and you put it down not adequate. I think it should be checked out. Very quiet some of the days and not many guests. On the way back there was not many toilets and the staff did very well as children were not well travel sickness. I did think there should have been some more spare meals for Vegetarian or Vegan as people may not know you have to request them. By the time it got to my seat there was only one choice of meal. I thought the airline staff did their best on a busy flight.

Very Disappointing

This was our first to visit The Gambia and probably our last. The hotel was very shabby and tired especially the bedroom, food was mediocre and service slow. Staff all after handouts, I totally understand how poor the country is but becomes quite wearing by end of the week being told it’s the end of the season and they have 5 kids to feed etc etc, funny that they all have top of the range phones ( maybe theses were gifts from guests as 2 ...

Sunshine , Relaxing

A great hotel friendly helpful staff . A place to relax chill out, close to the beach with their own loungers and shades and life guard. Food good, entertainment every night but not on to late. Free safe, wifi, water and towels you can change every day.

First time to Gambia

We have had a wonderful 10 days relaxing in the lovely Karaiba Hotel, we stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and were close to Kololi strip where there are plenty of restaurants to choose an evening meal. All hotel staff and friendly and polite. The grounds are beautiful with sun beds widely spaced, attended by pool staff offering drinks and snacks as desired. We recommend swimming in the sea which was warm with lots of waves, was great fun...

We booked two excursions which were both enjoyable and informative and opened our eyes to life for ordinary people and children in the Gambia

7 days in Gambia relaxing and three days in Senegal looking at wildlife.

We spent the first week relaxing, and taking in the sun and trying local food. The facilities at the hotel were very good and there was a choice of two pools and the beach to relax on. We then took and interesting journey on the ferry across to Senegal to stay on a wildlife reserve. The animals came right down to the hotel every evening, including a white rhino. The trips out exceeded all expectations, and the food was amazing!

Gambia Experience organised all our transfers well. When moving to Senegal, we were taken to the ferry, and then met by another guide who took us across, to meet transport on the other side.

Memorable holiday combining relaxation and culture

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday in The Gambia for one week staying at the African Princess hotel which had a pool coming out of a terrace from our room which was like having our own private pool. We did the day tour 6 in 1 which combined many sights. Really worth doing. Loved The Gambia and cannot wait to return. If you are looking for relaxation and culture The Gambia is a holiday to do.

The Gambia experience were extremely helpful to the booking on the telephone, explaining all I needed to know through to the reps at both Gatwick and then at Banjul airports and then being on call as they told us 24/7 for the whole period we were there. Karamo our rep explained everything clearly to us. Would not hesitate to use them again and in fact this is the second time I have used them as we used The Goa experience 18 months ago. Highly recommend them.
