We walked the Amalfi coast from Amalfi to Sorrento. Days were spent climbing into the hills away from the throng of tourists below. Spectacular views, some good challenges and at the end of the day comfortable beds and great views. The walking during the day meant we could enjoy wonderful Italian food every night without remorse. We not only had a holiday but felt a real sense of accomplishment and that we did things differently to most tourists on the Amalfi Coast.

Extremely organised- provided excellent information, walking notes, travel timetables in a timely fashion prior to the trip. We felt safe, like we had a back up if there was a problem- in fact we often helped out other lost walkers with our maps and instructions throughout the week.

Four old friends walked the Lighthouse Way for seven days - challenging but beautiful trails along the coast of Galicia, wonderful hospitality, spectacular food and much camaraderie!

On Foot Holidays provided a wonderful and very personalized service. Extremely responsive. Very detailed and helpful route maps and walking information. Most importantly, their on-the-ground partners (accommodation, transfers etc) were not only exceptionally authentic but also spoke very highly of On Foot as one of the best (if not THE best) companies that they work with. We will definitely be using On Foot for future self-guided walking holidays!

on foot holidays provided an itinerary that met all our needs- we felt very supported though the booking process, and especially in country with a local contact that gave us all the reassurance we needed that this was going to be fabulous. The routes chosen were excellent, with a great variety of terrain from mountain to sea, but with so much more, the accommodation was varied -full of local charm, history and we were made so welcome everywhere. Highlights included, wildlife, spectacular trails, food, vistas, and friendliness of all we met.

Onfoot Holidays are an excellent company to plan a walk with. Walking notes are first class, accomodation is always of a high standard and the local guides always on Jan to help out were necessary. This is our 5th walking holiday with Onfoot and I wouldn't hesitate to use them for future walls.

Self guided walking, staying in different accomodation and meeting new people. Northern Portugal is an interesting and scenic area and we loved staying in small villages and eating some good food.

The trip was well-planned, and organised superbly in every detail. We enjoyed excellent accommodation, meals and walking routes designed to make the most of the spectacular scenery on the peninsula. We were very impressed with the quality of the route notes and other information provided. During the planning of the trip, On Foot were extremely constructive in helping us plan the holiday, tailoring it to our needs, and dealing with IT issues to allow us to access GPS maps.

Fantastic scenery, wild life, organisation, food and wine. Definitely a get away from it all holiday but tough in places so a good level of fitness required although some good shorter options available. Camogli on the Mediterranean at the end was wonderful, not too touristy but very friendly with a good choice of eateries and things to do

Excellent organisation, support and rapid response to queries. The walking notes, maps and GPS very clear. All accommodation was either good or excellent, bag transfer very smooth.

The holiday was very nice - it provided us with an opportunity for physical activity and at the same time, to see new places, meet interesting people on the route and to "get away from it all".

My husband and I did several hikes through On Foot Holidays over last 4-5 years and we were always extremely satisfied with their service; particularly with their attention to detail, fast response to our questions and their courtesy. This trip to Dordogne was no exception. We can only say good things about them.
