We chose the 7 day Amalfi Coast walk from Amalfi to Sorrento which included steep climbs up to Ravello, some lovely woodland walks and the famous Sentiero degli Dei, ( foot path of the gods ) along cliff tops high above the sea with spectacular views down to the sea below. Another day saw us climbing down to the beautiful Marina di Furore fjord; azure blue water framed by and entering through a massive archway in the mountain to form a small beach. The last couple of days were spent on the rural headland around Sant'Agata with views to Capri amongst peaceful groves of lemons and olives.

On Foot provided excellent, thoroughly researched and up to date route notes for each day of the walk together with maps and background information. The friendly team at On Foot are always prompt with their replies to requests and queries. They are able to assist with planning the walk so that one can add on additional nights or vary the walk; even arrange airport taxi pickup which is very helpful for people arriving from overseas. They pre-book all accommodation and arrange for luggage transfers from hotel to hotel. We have walked twice now with On Foot holidays and each trip has run smoothly and been very enjoyable.

The area was lovely and the choice of routes and Tuscan towns made this a perfect introduction to Tuscany. We were stunned by the beauty of the countryside and the warmed by the friendliness of the local people. The meals we ate were all of a high standard and always a great variety of local produce and of course delicious local wines. The flexibility built into the holiday aslo added to the enjoyment

On Foot did an excellent job, - walking instructions and gps track files were spot on - accomodation was excellent as was the baggage handling - background information on area, restaurants etc was great

The accommodation each night was unique and special. This combined with panoramic views of a peaceful world and a professional set of walking instructions made this a superb holiday. It is truly a different country as it is thickly wooded with its abandoned hilltop villages being carefully restored.Last but not least our hosts were truly welcoming and friendly.

Full marks. Everything was done in a professional manner and went like clockwork. Taxis appeared on time - accommodation was better than expected and they are a nice bunch.

Superb onfootholidays website detailing the route / accommodation etc. Very helpful advice re options for extending our holiday. Excellent holiday pack with very clear route descriptions /maps /and GPS linked folder to download onto my i-phone. Great walk / welcoming hosts / great food/ well organised baggage transfers. A wonderful holiday!

On Foot Holidays have been superb at every stage of the holiday - planning / pre-travel pack (including instructions re app to download to i-phone for GPS linked route map) / support available in italy if needed during holiday (did not need to use this) / keen to hear and respond to feedback. We went to Zagoria in northern Greece close to the Albanian border via Corfu. Whilst Corfu is lovely Zagoria was the true highlight of our holiday. A ferry across to the mainland was an enjoyable start not a hindrance. The bus station very close which we enjoy much more than taxis, though from Ionina we had to take a Txai as there are no buses up to the mountain villages. On foot did us proud, as they placed us in 3 wonderful villages Kapesevo, Monodendri and Papingo. All our hosts were charming, warm and welcoming (and spoke good English!!). Our rooms delightful, but not plush.....thank goodness! they expected us to enter in our clean walking boots, All the food we were provided with was of a very high standard and utterly delicious. But the core of the holiday was in the walking. Country we had not experienced before, thhe Vikos Gorge was a huge feat for us oldies, but all the lother days were just as interesting both from the geological, fauna and flora. Those wonderful stone villages and their history will remain with us for many years, as will those beautifully built steps leading up to them.

On foot makes everything so easy for us. We did NO homework before our holiday as ther wasn't time or engery. It didn't matter as they provided us with everything we needed and more ( we didn't need a dogdazer for fearsome dogs thank goodness!!) Our route information is 100 percent reliable and accurate. Transfers were smooth and easy, our baggage appeared each night as if by magic And everyone that is associat ed with On Foot are good people and go out of their way to help or answer questions. This has been our 5th holiday with On Foot. At the moment we are able to manage the Medium/hard, although we take longer than the timings. That is partly because the routes we are given are so magnificent we make them last the whole day as we want to savour everything I also would like to thank On Foot for their kindness when we had to cancel a holiday very late for family reasons. Rather than facing the hassle of insurance, they suggested we leave the money with them and we take a holiday as soon as it suited us. We were so grateful as paperwork, re insurance etc. at that time was the last thing we needed. It may be a small company, I can only say it is personal

Self guided walking tour across Bohemia of about 80 kilometre over 5 days.

The fact that me and my wife over the year's are on first name terms with people that we have never met and that they recognize our voices with a cheery hello makes us feel secure in what we are looking for will be action down to the smallest detail.

We were looked after extremely well from booking to return. The self guiding was fun and easy to follow with just enough challenge. The routes, accommodation, food and everyone involved we met were a delight.

Friendly, knowledgeable very helpful and well organised.

We enjoyed a fabulous 7-day self-guided walking tour of the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Following maps and route notes - like a treasure hunt - our tour took us on ancient paths, up and down hidden stairways, on back roads, and through lemon and olive groves to quiet villages and bustling towns, with long stretches of drop-dead gorgeous coastal views along the way. We loved every step of our journey.

The crew at On Foot Holidays were fantastic to work with. From our first inquiry, though the planning and booking process, and the trip itself, they were incredibly responsive. They answered our questions promptly and thoroughly; booked our charming accommodations; arranged for transport of our luggage between hotels; and provided detailed trip notes, maps, and bus and ferry schedules geared specifically to our itinerary. We recommend them whole-heartedly.

Walking through forests, open countryside and quite often in solitude. This experience was just what we needed. Time to look. Time to experience. Time to listen to eachother. Time to stand and see nature. We loved the countryside. .so beautiful. Following the excellent maps and instructions we were orienteering. ..great fun. Czech people were absolutely delightful. The food delicious. The beer slid down our throats. We saw wildlife up close ....deer, wild sheep; kingfishers and more. Each village or town brought history and culture with tasty food and more excellent Czech beer. We were tired on some days but delighted with what we had seen and experienced. On foot holidays prepared us well. They advised us. They are knowledgeable. Holiday packs were spot on. We had a fabulous time. I cried on the last day....why oh why does this experience have to end? We will walk again.

Fab communication. Very polite. Excellent holiday pack which we used every day al day. Office staff attentive professional and polite. Nothing was a bother. We felt cared for. The extra touch of an email wishing us z good holiday was a great touch. All promised happened and without a hiccup. ..something unique there.
