Italy as it used to be
A walking holiday with luggage transferred between hotels. A very beautiful part of Italy (Cilento National Park) which was really unspoiled. Excellent food a very warm welcome from all who put us up just a wonderful way to relax.

We’ve used On Foot holidays for many years, and the best recommendation I can give is that we keep using them. For this particular type of holiday, they are truly excellent.

Hiking in La Gomera
As the byline for the holiday stated La Gomera is a 'Magical Island of Eternal Spring', and it is certainly the perfect antidote to a chilly and damp January the UK. The walking is excellent with good quality paths, in an ever changing landscape which ranged from semi-desert by the sea, to the cloud forest around the peak of the island. Some of the walking is quite tough going if one avoids all suggested shortcuts, as the climbs can be long ...

All worked very smoothly, as usual with On Foot, and all we had to worry about was the walking and eating, both of which were excellent. All dealings with the office were faultless, whilst the local contact was only a message away if advice was needed whilst we were in La Gomera.

Absolutely wonderful walking trip in Galicia, Spain
Our small family of four adults took a walking trip with On Foot Holidays through the Robiera Sacra in Galicia, Spain. We stayed in wonderful locally run accommodations and one parador along the way. The scenery was spectacular, and we hardly saw a soul while on our daily walks.

This is our fifth trip with On Foot Holidays. We love their ability to find special places to hike and the way in which they allow us to individualize it to fit our interests. The guides and GPS they provide are excellent and very helpful. They are easy to contact and their response time to questions is quite amazing.

Marina Alta walking tour
Walking the hills/trails of southeast Spain. Really interesting geography. This was a walking trip from one town to the next and we had great accommodations throughout.

We had great advice and quick responses to all of our questions from "On Foot". This was our first walking vacation and we had a really nice experience. The accomodations were top notch and the walking trails and sights were superb.

Gorges du Tarn
Peaceful trails, gorgeous weather, trails gaining and then descending through autumn color mixed with firs/pines to the end of grassy summer at river's edge. Hiking at the end of season provided us with solitude, easy times with innkeepers and good distances each day.

So very communicative - quick to respond and to accommodate. Arrangements for lodging and luggage transfer were flawless. Itinerary was thorough and easily understood. The route has been thoroughly visited and re-visited by a local representative not only establishing detailed hiking directions but making valued relationships with innkeepers. The On Foot app for our hike too proved flawless.

Beautiful walk through the mountains of Andalucia with all the logistics taken care of.
We took the train from Manchester to Ronda where On Foot holidays took over and (self) guided us through 6 days of walking in the mountains around Ronda. The walks were excellent as was the accommodation.

Amalfi Coast
Arrival by foot ferry (Salerno-Amalfi) during a perfect Mediterranean sunset is quite a way to commence a trip. Despite never being far from civilisation there are parts of this route that feel unexpectedly remote. The ascent from Positano to the high point of Monte Comune with its extensive views is not to be missed. Apart from the honey-pot 'Path of the Gods' we saw virtually no-ne on the route (first week November). Weather was ideal ...

Everything went like clockwork - hotel bookings / baggage transfer / maps / route descriptions. On Foot Holidays are very good at this sort of thing. We trust them.

5 day walking tour in Andalucía, Spain.
Walking in Andalucía for 5 days, staying at independent B&B and hotels. Onfoot provided maps for each days walk and organised the luggage to be taken by transfer to next destination.

Embrace of the Elements
We walked from Mousehole to St. Ives along a breathtaking coast. Don't know if any other walk can top these.
