This was a perfect 'get away from it all' hiking holiday. Stunning scenery, remote paths, delicious food and wine. Perfect.

On Foot Holidays provided all the information we needed before our trip. Everything was perfectly organized. The local guide was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot praise the company enough.

This was a terrific trip along the Rhine River in Germany, through forests, fields, vineyards and charming villages. The river was nearly always in view and it was fascinating to learn about shipping on the Rhine, as well as the architecture and history of the towns through which we walked. The accommodations were varied but comfortable. It was fun to eat traditional German foods, and try out the local beers and wines.

The route notes for this self-guided waking trip were excellent. The hotels gave us a warm welcome as "On Foot" guests and our luggage was always there. On Foot provided good recommendations for lunches and dinners as well as suggestions for visiting various sites along the way. On Foot provided us with many helpful tools, such as train and ferry schedules for the route as well as for getting to and from the airport. I had a few questions prior to the trip which were answered promptly and completely. I like that On Foot provides a local contact who can help if there is a problem or just a simple question like where to eat. This was our third trip with On Foot and we will definitely plan a fourth.

Ideal weather, with cool ocean breezes, mesmerizing views, calming desolate beaches, solitude, amazingly fresh and delicious seafood, and very nice people.

The entire experience was well planned, with meticulous daily notes and maps (hard copy and digital resources), very comfortable lodging, and daily briefs and recommendations from local contact made the entire walk well worth it!

On Foot Holidays provided very good information on the hikes. They were very quick to answer any questions during the planning of the trip. We didn’t really run into any emergency situations or anything like that.

Six days self-guided walking in Liguria, crossing the Appennines and following ancient tracks. Variety of small hotels. Nice finish at picturesque traditional seaside town/port.

We hiked the lovely trails of Naxos and Amorgos, ate great food and met some wonderful people.

On Foot is the best hiking holiday tour operator in Europe, We wish they would expand to other continents! This was our 2nd vacation with them and they did not disappoint. Logistics were flawless, accommodations delightful and the hikes breathtaking.

We did this walking tour of the Amalfi Coast and it was spectacular! It was tough at times with all the steps, but the never ending views made it all worth while! We had perfect weather too!

They were very responsive with any questions, the tour was set up quickly, all of their information was laid out very well.

The 10 day experience (9 days of walking) was well worth our time and money. Not the easiest route available, but highly recommended for pure rugged beauty and continuous spectacular views. On Foot Holidays did a great job organizing the route into "do-able" sections and finding enjoyable overnight accommodations. They provided lots of information about the history and culture of the region in their "Blue Book" that one should read prior to undertaking the walk. I especially liked that it included a section about the wild birds I might encounter along the way,.

This was our second trip with On Foot Holidays and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first. The friends we traveled with were on their 15th trip with OFH! Clearly a sign of a successful organization.

Wonderful walking and perfectly planned. All the stress taken out of the planning so we could enjoy strenuous days walking and relaxing in pretty hotels at the end of the day.

Nothing is too much trouble for them. Thoroughly professional but with the personal touch.

We loved every one of our 6 days along the Lighthouse Way from the dramatic coastlines to the fishing villages and comfortable accommodations. We had hoped for good seafood along the way and we were not disappointed! The pre-trip packet was the most thorough information we have ever received from a hiking tour company and increased our anticipation of the trip as well as provided excellent route finding information.

The pre-trip packet and communication via email was outstanding in getting us ready for the hike; answering all questions promptly and thoroughly. We felt confident any questions/concerns while hiking would be addressed and that proved to be true. Our only communication during the trip was about the taxi service and that was taken care of as promised.
