Glorious self guided walking holiday from Spoleto to Mompeo staying in farm stays, b&bs, hotels. Warm welcomes, delicious food, rural quiet unaffected Umbria. We lingered in some Beautiful places Labro, Casperia, and especially in agriurismo le mole sul farfa... it’s a holiday to take time over.

On foot are like an old pair of walking boots! Comfortable easy to get along with and familiar with terrain

This walk was one of three adventures we planned in Europe over October - walking the Amalfi coastline, bike riding southwest Portugal and sea kayaking around Menorca Island. It was a good time to visit outside the main tourism season. The Amalfi walk was a great way to experience the local nature and culture at a slower pace.

The professional advice and service of On Foot Holidays was exceptional - well planned and accurate information, good maps, helpful advice about trip planning, what to see and places to eat. They have carefully chosen good quality accommodation that is generally located away from the high tourist visited streets within the small coastal towns.

We just finished a 6-day independent hike in Andalucia Spain supported by On Foot Holidays. They arranged our lodging, gave us detailed trail descriptions including a GPS file to help us navigate, and moved our luggage from inn to inn. The inns were all very comfortable and all of the logistics of our trip were handled without any problems.

We are already looking for another hiking trip sponsored by On Foot Holidays. The attention we got before the trip and the arrangements they made for our lodging, breakfasts, lunches, and luggage transfer were flawless.

Seven day holiday with six days of walks through the mountains of south west Mallorca. Walks, transport of luggage and accommodation all organised by our tour company. Well chosen walks with options for easier days, excellent varied accommodation. Always with useful information about the areas we walk through and what to do and where to eat at each night's destination.

We have used this company for the last six holidays, one each year. They give friendly, helpful and very personal advice from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to undertake a walking holiday.

The walks took us to the less travelled areas where history an geography made sense

Every aspect was perfectly planned and they got in touch late in our holiday when strike action may have caused problems to ensure we had up to the minute travel info

A walk through magnificent scenery - one especially memorable day climbing up on to a ridge from Ordunte Reservoir to La Matanza. Accommodation was always clean, comfortable and welcoming, three of the selection particularly charming and characterful in very different ways. Some wonderful Basque dinners were included in the itinerary. And the chance to sample the delights of Bilbao at either end of the trip.

This was our fourth trip with On Foot Holidays. As before, they were superbly efficient, with very personal service. Walking notes and maps were spot on; and the ability to use their GPS files was very reassuring on the (rare) occasions when we were in slight doubt. The local agent was in daily contact, giving us very helpful up-to-date advice.

1 late autumn week in Naxos and Amorgos, walking routes with notes and maps provided by On Foot Holidays. Wonderful accommodation and friendly staff. Excellent food (a treat for vegetarians). Excellent swimming opportunities from quiet beaches. Wonderful landscapes and sightseeing.

On Foot Holidays - from the first contact with queries about a holiday, the staff are helpful and friendly. They know their business, know their local contacts, and have an eye for detail. (For example, they had kept an eye on the local ferry timetables, keeping us informed of changes right up to the last minute).

Hike among lighthouses on the Galician Coast of Death that combined beautiful scenery with an absence of humanity - it was perfect! We were fortunate to have spectacular weather so we were able to hike in an area where the weather can be very dramatic and drenching. Each day we could customize the length of our hike and that was a great perk.

Responses to inquiries were complete, accurate, and prompt. All materials arrived as promised. The details for each day were correct. We took advantage of the ability to use taxis to shorten some challenging days. Accommodations were as promised. We were in daily touch with local contact and he was helpful and responsive.

Our walk was challenging at times as quite hilly country but beautiful scenery in a quiet area. Exposure to very interesting Basque culture and history. Pretty villages and farming country, plus Hondarribia and San Sebastian with great food and historic old towns.

I did a solo hiking of the Lighthouse Way - I really needed the holiday upon completion
