We experienced spectacular coastal views and beautiful Cornish countryside, with hardly any "mizzle". We even learned some history along the way. Some of the the hike days were more challenging than others, but we were well prepared with our daily itinerary and written guide notes. The accommodations and pre-arranged meals were delightful. All of the organized transportation of luggage and hikers was effortless for us, thanks to On Foot's attention to detail. It was a wonderful holiday!

The people at On Foot Holidays take great care to ensure our adventure is well organized so we need not worry about details and we are free to enjoy our vacation. They are always responsive to email before and during the trip. Having a local contact person also ensures that support is only a phone call away. This was our third walk with On Foot. It would have been our fourth, but pandemic lock downs canceled our earlier plans. They handled the cancelation with such grace that we had no hesitation in coming back, once we could do so. We are already considering our next adventure with On Foot Holidays!

I walked along the Rhine, using ferry to cross and walk both sides. Very beautiful and lots of castles and history too.

On Foot holiday organised the hotels, luggage transfers and provided very detailed route notes and background information. They were very friendly and quick to respond. Everything went very smoothly.

We walked the Lighthouse Way in Galicia. On Foot talked us through the route, and suggested changes to suit our needs. The route and accommodation exceeded our expectations, and the local guide Aznar was very helpful with advice and sorting any issues that arose.

Well organised, well represented by the information and good varied accommodation. We love combining walking in interesting areas with taking a little longer and visiting a nearby city.

A small independent company that make a real effort to get the details right. They also put on interesting walking options along with the more standard destinations.

A group of six long-time friends and hiking companions took a 6 day self-guided hiking/walking trip in Slovenia ( Slovenia - The Karst) organized by On Foot Holidays. This was a trip that we had planned to take in 2020, but was delayed due to Covid.

On Foot is simply brilliant. Four of us had been on an On Foot holiday before. Our experience the last time was marvelous and this time it was no different. During the 2 year delay caused by Covid, On Foot stayed in touch. In the lead up to our trip they were extremely responsive, and attended immediately to every question or request. Everyone we communicated with was pleasant and efficient, and it didn't matter who at On Foot we were communicating with - they all seemed to know everything about our trip and had answers to all ur questions. On Foot arranged every detail of the trip, provided maps. - both paper and GPS - for every day's hike, written turn-by-turn instructions for every day's hike, etc. They arranged transportation where it was required - and when a taxi was supposed to turn up, it did! On time! The hotels /pensions/B&B's were fairly simple but completely adequate, and the accommodations were exactly as requested. The food was good. It is hard to think of anything they could have done better. We are already thinking about our next trip with On Foot.

We spent 7 nights (5 walking days) in the Basque region. Our trek began in Elizondo and finished in Donastia. The walks were excellent, hosts wonderful and food good to excellent.

On Foot we’re very knowledgeable and accommodating during the planning stages and supportive as needed during our walk. Actually, everything was planned so well and clearly communicated that we really didn’t need any support during our trip.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The stunning walks which led me through the most amazingly gorgeous countryside. The small hamlets with houses draped in roses, to the welcoming inns with their well appointed rooms that served up delicious meals. I saw places that most people would not be able to see because of their remoteness and just plain not knowing that they are out there. The walking route was truly magnificent. Could not ask for a better experience.

The communication with On Foot Holiday was as smooth as anything I have ever experienced. They got back to me with inquiries large and small in a timely manner. The route notes were extraordinary, mind you, I am a first time walker plus I did this solo yet managed never to get lost. I credit this to the clarity of OFH's directions. Very little road walking. Just an extremely well mapped out route taking me through spectacular countryside. The inns chosen by OFH were absolutely spot on.
