Six amazing days of hiking along the Galician coast. We loved every minute of our walking holiday to the end of the world, hiking over ridges, through forests, and remote country villages as we discovered endless beautiful secluded beaches along the stunning Atlantic coast.

On Foot Holidays provided excellent service. They cover every detail, ensuring an amazing experience. They were extremely responsive and exceptionally helpful and supportive when we had to make late changes to our booking. Their local agent Azner followed up on the pre-holiday preparation, giving support, recommendations and making changes if required. . The complete and thorough service provided by On Foot Holidays meant we were able to completly relax and enjoy the hiking experience.

The hike was everything we could have wished for! The organization was fantastic, the accommodation varied from fantastic to very adequate, and our contact, Aznar, here in Spain was always available and extremely competent. There was always the option of doing a longer or shorter hike, but all the ascents were steep and challenging, while the descents were long, and of course, Aznar could always organise a taxi for you. The routes in the Spanish Basque (Elizondo-Erratzu-Etxalar) took us through lovely chestnut and oak woods and beautiful mountain slopes covered in gorse, ferns and heather. The occupied buildings and homes were beautifully maintained and everything was spotlessly clean. We seldom met anyone except horses along the way ( GR 11). Everything changed in the French part. There were also far more people out hiking. Hondarribia and San Sebastián are places we would like to return to, although Hondarribia is our favourite.

A real treat for anyone like my wife and I that are easily bored and like to explore new places. We hiked (some days) from Amalfi to Sorrento, stopping in some of the most breathtaking views Italy has to offer. It was a real opportunity to explore some of the quieter (and busy) parts of the Amalfi coast. The real gems of the coast are a walk away from the cruise ships. On Foot Holidays planned a fantastic route, with lots of alternative options.

On Foot Holidays planned all of the hotels, walking routes and the forward sending of your bags. The information was clear and very up to date. The hotels were all very nice and there was never any confusion. Communication was simple and friendly.

We were a group of two couples who walked the Basque Pyrenees to San Sebastián. The scenery was stunning, walking challenging and the welcome by everyone we met was so warm.

On Foot Holidays have been excellent from when we first booked this trip in 2019 to moving the whole itinerancy forwards by one day at short notice when our flight operator cancelled our flight when we were finally able to make the trip in 2022. Nothing is too much trouble for the On Foot Team - they really do think of everything to ensure that your trip goes smoothly. The walking instructions, maps and all other information are really comprehensive. The routes, accommodation and support during the holiday are amazing.

We had such a great time hiking Amalfi this summer as a family. The trails are definitely challenging but have superb views in all directions as you hike along the coast line and up and down the mountains. Being located near the sea in the evening proved perfect for swimming while the rest of the crowds were heading off to dinner. July is a little hot so be prepared.

We love on foot holiday's they do such a great job with hiking descriptions and take out the stress of booking hotels or trying to figure out suitable hiking lengths on our own.

We booked a 7(?) day self-guided hike across the Dolomites with On Foot Holidays. We added extra nights at the beginning and the end. The hikes were either loop walks or onward journeys. Most of the walks were completely achievable for us; a few there to challenge as well. Which we loved!! Every day was a new, and stunning, adventure. A beautiful region that makes you want to keep going on the paths that challenged a bit more, and great accommodation at the end of each day.

On Foot Holidays were excellent with their contact before and during the trip. There was no issues of changing dates when covid lockdowns happened. The resources they sent us were clear and easy to follow. We had no issues with directions/getting from place to place at all and walked with confidence knowing that the directions were correct. The contact we had with On Foot was one of the reasons we went with the company.

We walked from Lake Maggiore to Lake Orta with OFH. Hotels we excellent and the self guided directions were absolutely first class, especially with the provided maps for the GPS App which meant we always knew exactly where we were! The chosen route included interesting sites and villages so we got a real sense of the area rather than just tourist locations. Collection from the airport and back was super efficient.

Totally 'on it' and really helpful with arranging things as as well advice as to the holiday itself. The way they arrange the holidays make them flexible so as we were able to add rest days as appropriate and extend the trip accordingly.

We absolutely loved the unspoilt coastal beauty of On Foot's Cornwall South Coast Path hike. The views were stunning especially with the heather and gorse in bloom. We loved the challenge of the hike and also the places we stayed. Our trip was so well organized and we didn't have any problems at all. Thanks to On Foot Holidays, we had an exciting Cornish Experience.

On Foot Holidays is simply excellent. They are quick to reply to communications and they do an excellent job of finding interesting places to stay along the way. We know we can always depend on the accommodations they choose. Their walking directions are excellent and they give online maps as well that you can download to double check. We are never worried about getting lost on our hikes. They give pointers in your itinerary about what you need to consider for the next day. This information is very helpful. We were most impressed with On Foot's contact for this hike. We were able to contact her anytime during our trip and we even got to stay at her Bed and Breakfast which was such a lovely experience. 5 nights with 4 days walking in the Dolomites. Beautiful sunny days and lots of flowers. Plenty of walking but much more with an Austrian/Italian cultural immersion. Wine food history and geology.

With a self guided tour it is important to get the right balance. You want to know there is back up when needed but also want to have the freedom to do things at your own pace. On Foot Holidays provided excellent communication and printed material with accurate route maps. Accommodation and luggage transport was generally comfortable and reliable.
