Our self-guided walking holiday was fantastic, small villages, beautiful people and able to get off the beaten track, but knowing you have the backing of such a great company in Onfootholidays.

This was our second walk with Onfootholidays, I cannot fault them everything is organised to a tee, instructions are clear, their local contacts are fantastic. It just gives you so much confidence knowing that onfoot have organised things. We can't wait till our next walk, just need to decide where!!!

The Alpes Maritimes are a hidden gem, only 20 kilometres from the coast but a different world of twisty roads, stunning villages perched on top of craggy cliffs, and the walking has all the variety you would expect from a mountainous region. The people are welcoming and friendly and the history is as fascinating as you would expect of a region so close to the border with Italy

On Foot are always impressive - nothing is left to chance as they check every detail of the arrangements and make sure the local contact is fully briefed on our particular needs. The briefing material is excellent and they respond fully and carefully to any requests we make of them.

4 days hiking, 5 nights lodging using GOS route and trip mites

Very organized, friendly, a step ahead all the way. They chose good hotels and made excellent recommendations for stops along the way. The porter service was excellent.

As senior hikers, we appreciated both our GPS and our poles. We took the 7 day option and found it to be more than manageable. We also took one ride 1/2 way with the luggage after the longest day, one that many people take, we’re told! A September hike gave us perfect weather, warm and sunny and the trail was very quiet.

On Foot was very good to work with. The accommodations were wonderful and it was such a treat having most of our evening meals provided. We felt very comfortable having a local person "on call" if needed.

A lovely walking holiday, visiting beautiful white hill towns and travelling through striking scenery, hardly meeting another soul alomg the way. It was wonderful seeing the vultures riding the thermals above the mountain tops. The towns were all interesting and had lots of dining options and the walk into Ronda at the end was very spectacular and the Ronda town walk was well worth doing. bit hotter than expected for the time of year but we started early and took one rest day

This is our 4th walk with On Foot Holidays and we keep going back. From initial contact to enquire about a holidays to the return afterwards they are ever patient with our questions, very hellpful planning transfers to the start/end of the walk and provide excellent support with any issues. The pack for the walk is exceptional, very accurate and extremely informative (with the back up of a gps route on a phone). I recommend them to all our friends.

A beautiful walk through the Yorkshure Dales. If you've watched the television series "All Creatures Great and Small" you'll have an idea of what to expect. And if you suspect that the producers worked hard to film only in the prettiest parts....rest assured that they could have used scenes from just about anywhere in The Dales. Stunning scenery every day in every direction.

Our 4th trip with OnFoot Holidays with zero probkems. The office staff, as always, was accessible and responsive from start to finish. The local contact was particularly helpful on this trip. I rarely "gush" about a product or service, but this is one company I can recommend without reservation.

Varied styles of accommodation, all of which were very good. Walking varied and matched the brochure description with regard to toughness etc.

Have used On Foot on various occasions and always found them excellent to deal with. There on site representatives are also attentive and willing to assist.

Walking holiday staying at different places with luggage moved on for us. Beautiful scenery and accommodation was good.

Much of the Lake Maggiore walk was was in sight of Lakes Maggiore and Orta which we truly enjoyed. The trails in many parts are rocky so are a bit difficult for us, but it is what it is. All hotels were really lovely and top notch. Fun to take many ferries in certain parts. Hotel choices were terrific. Trail guides are everything you need.

This is our 3rd trip with On Foot. I think that shows that we are very satisfied with the quality of professionalism and expertise of the staff of OnFoot. They answered questions promptly and fully and gave us good advice and assistance. We have used 3 other tour operators for other walks we've taken and learned from experience that as Americans we need to have a European operator to deal with health issues and the time difference. We find On Foot's itineraries most appealing for where we want to go and the quality of hotels they offer. Also their trail notes, area backgrounds, GPS app etc. are great. We have and will continue to recommend them to friends.

Expertly co-ordinated by On-Foot we had a wonderful time walking the relatively remote Alpes Maritme close to the Italian border. La Brigue was much enjoyed, rustic, welcoming and off the beaten track.

Flawlessly planned and supported, we had a local contact on call if needed - we did not.
