We hiked the perimeter of Cornwall from Penzance to St. Ives in the early fall.

They kept in close touch and were very responsive from our first queries until we completed our holiday and got back home. They advised us on the route, booked our accommodations & meals and arranged to transport our luggage day by day. They provided assistance avoiding travel problems (they warned us in advance of a railway strike which affected our arrival at the start), and provided color and history to enhance the trip.

Spent five nights in Andros with well-structured hikes curated by OnFoot holidays. Very enjoyable stay - the hiking path markers were excellent, and OnFoot offered useful shortening options if you wished to use them. Local contacts were all very friendly and helpful. Hikes were uncrowded but towns had good facilities without being overrun by tourists. Sea was divine after a hot day's walking.

OnFoot was always responsive, helpful and professional. We've used them before and will use them again.

We spent two week walking On Foot Holiday routes in Northern Provence and in the Dordogne region. Both holidays included excellent walking routes with beautiful landscapes, historic interest, and lovely inns with great food. The plans and support provided by On Foot were flawless

We completed a 6-day trip to Dorset, with 4 days of walks of between 10 and 15 miles through wonderful landscapes including the South west coastal path between West Bay and Lyme Regis. We walked from town to town and our luggage was taken on ahead. We stayed in fantastic hotels and country inns, and enjoyed some wonderful meals (and fabulous breakfasts). We were provided with detailed route maps and directions, and notes about sights en route, including detailed information about how to use GPS on our phones and an online ordnance survey map. This was our first walking holiday but one of the most enjoyable trips we've ever taken, in large part due to the excellence of the planning and support from On Foot Holidays. We can't wait for next year!

On Foot Holidays were excellent from start to finish. They were quick and helpful in developing an itinerary that suited us perfectly. They remained in contact before and during our trip, even contacting us as soon as rail strikes were announced on one of our travel dates. They kept an eye out for us through the trip and warned us when the weather looked threatening. All of the arrangements were spot-on and the accommodations and luggage transfers were excellent. It was obvious that they had a good reputation with the hotels we stayed at, and the service throughout was superb. The quality and detail of the information provided about our chosen routes could not have been better, and we were assigned a local contact to answer queries en route. This was our first ever walking holiday and we felt safe and looked after, and never had a moment's anxiety from booking to the end of our trip. We cannot praise them highly enough and would gladly book another trip with this company.

Great walking guided by excellent notes. Stayed at a variety of accommodation chosen by On Foot holidays, all of which were good in their own way, in particular the accommodation in Positano was outstanding due to the cleanliness of the room, location and friendly staff. A great way to see the coast as wells exploring some of the more rural parts away form the crowds, some quite tough walking at times due to the steep climbs.

They were helpful from start to finish, before and during the holiday. Lots of extras included such as bus and ferry timetables, suggestions as to where, and where not, to eat and some brief notes on special places and things to see and do.

We hiked from Maggiore to Orta. We loved the experience which certainly exceeded our expectations. The scenery, food, accommodation and culture were really great.

We're just back from a glorious walking holiday along the Rhine River in Germany organized by the superlative team at On Foot Holidays. After hiking between 8 and 10 miles each day, along lovely trails above the endlessly fascinating Rhine, we enjoyed sleeping in accommodations ranging from medieval castles to warmly inviting small inns. A wonderful experience.

We walked for 6 days through wonderful scenery and old and recent history, It was never boring, frequently challenging. Every day we felt we had been physically challenged and pleased that we had done it and enjoyed it!

Our notes for every day guided us on the right route. When in doubt check the notes! Our hosts along the route were all very different and therefore all the more interesting. Anyone going on the same journey, don't be afraid to ask about how things have changed over the last few years. for example, ask about the snow 15 years ago and how it compares to now

We walked the Lighthouse Way in Galicia, and it was even better than we had hoped for. The route was well marked, the directions we received were detailed and careful, and the accommodation was wonderful. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

We began with a wonderful international phone call during which Mary of On Foot gave my family individualized trip recommendations— and it just got better from there. Everything was meticulously organized, the directions couldn’t have been clearer, the local consultant was attentive and helpful, the accommodations were warm and inviting, and all that made the trip perfect. On Foot even took it upon themselves to rearrange our accommodations on their own dime when they realized we were originally booked in a town during a lovely but loud late-night festival.
