A week spent in Alderney on one of Naturetrek's 'Go Slow' holidays proved a very relaxing, yet nature-rich, experience, with perfect weather throughout and two excellent and knowledgeable leaders.

Have been with Naturetrek for many years - the Alderney trip was my 28th one with the company.

Lots of walking,in various terrains and weather hot to cold and damp.Madeira is a friendly reasonably cheap country But very hilly.We were well looked after and the two guides were first class.

A one week tour based at one hotel. Daily excursions to sights of botanical and wildlife interest were well organised

Very well organised. A relatively late transfer from a tour which didn't take place owing to very low interest

A very well led holiday by a leader who really knew the area, and where to go. We enjoyed excellent views of the wildlife of the different areas we visited, including some real surprises eg seeing a Long Eared Owl very well hidden in a tree having its daytime sleep ! We ate and slept well in very good Hotels, which to the enjoyment of the holiday.

Naturetrek always has an excellent selection of worldwide holidays to choos from, yet still comes up with holidays to areas you would not expect to visit - like this one ! Add in their excellent organisation and planning , it makes for a great holiday to somewhere a bit different !

I was happy to go somewhere unknown to me - Wales - and watch birds, the scenery, wild flowers etc.

An interesting tour with great guides who were very knowledgeable. Great accommodation. On the go the whole time so be prepared for little down time and being very active.

A 3 day holiday looking at butterflies and orchids in the Cotswolds.

We have used Naturetrek many times and this holiday combined the professionalism and expertise we always receive.

A group tour of natural areas of the Camargue. A group of 14 adults and 2 leaders used 2 minibuses to travel to a different wildlife area each day to look at the bird and insect life. We returned to a comfortable french gite and were treated to a 3 course meal every evening and continental style breakfast.

We traveled with Naturetrek. The holiday was booked pre-covid and delayed for two years. Last year just one tour was possible so we were given the option of delaying again. This made payments and form filling quite disjointed but the naturetrek office staff were very helpful Also the guides were very knowledgeable and passionate about their field and managed to find us all our target sightings inspite of 30+ temperatures and a strong mistral wind.

We visited Guernsey with Naturetrek and experienced 3 days of exploring the nature on the island in glorious sunshine. We had a very knowlegable guide and the group was friendly and easy-going. We looked at birds, insects of many varieties, mammals, reptiles and amphibians and a wide variety of plants in different habitats
