Excellent information before and after the tour. Wonderful accomodation in 4 different places and good food throughout. Comfortable minibus to travel in. Knowledgeable and very helpful guide. Very early morning flight out a bit of a pain as I had to overnight in a Gatwick hotel beforehand but this gave more on arrival to start wildlife watching.

Wildlife photography on Mull

Small group on the Isle of Mull under the leadership of a professional wildlife photographer. He had spent a lot of time on Mull and knew the place backwards. Our guide helped us with the photography as well so despite only having a £250 camera bought off eBay we still got some excellent shots. I was most impressed by his care for the wildlife too, he got us into some cracking points to take pictures but always taking most care not to disturb the animals, just as it should be.

Naturetrek specialise in wildlife holidays. Ours was a deliberately small group so we could all get the attention we needed from our guide to make a successful holiday. Good pre-departure information, good accommodation and they were always very helpful and friendly if we called for advice. Not only would we travel with them again, we have already planned our next trip.

Very enjoyable trip to Southern Portugal with Naturetrek

Our Naturetrek guides were both very knowledgeable and very good at spotting and identifying birds. Our group of 14 people in 2 minibuses got on well together and we enjoyed our trips which were led at a gentle pace.

Naturetrek We travelled from a regional airport and the company arranged an additional night stay for us in order to accommodate this. Travel arrangements and information worked well.

Namibia, Zambia and Botswana wildlife bonanza!

We optimistically asked NatureTrek to prioritise some of the hard to see African animals. They put a tour together that optimised our chances of seeing them. Due to a fantastic tour guide and professional lodge staff we saw them all, and more. To see cheetah, pangolins and Wild Dogs was a dream come true. Add in the wet majesty of the Victoria Falls, it was a dream trip.

Abundant Nature and Culture in Puglia

The Naturetrek "Puglia in Spring" was a awe inspiring mixture of fabulous scenery, myriads of orchids and other botanical marvels, wonderful butterflies and birds of all sizes (all 3 types of harriers will long be remembered). In addition to the wildlife we experienced some of the local culture, historic towns and local food. The guides were walking encyclopedias and very generous with their knowledge.

Our 2 guides and bird experts excellent and made sure as many of us as possible saw each species. They also tried to explain the history of the environments and how action was being taken to conserve and enhance nature. A great holiday.

Naturetrek. Well organised, helpful when booking, good pre departure info. Helped me book a night in Seville and the beginning and one in Madrid at the end so that I could travel direct from Manchester rather than Gatwick. Holiday ran smoothly.
