Our tour took us to several different places and accommodation all slightly different and always offering a new experience. Our guide Jaun was local and was extremely knowledgable of the wonderful bird life. It was a small group who got on really well and Jaun made us all feel special and we could faullt how well he looked after each one of us. It was an experience we will not forget and we hope to visit new parts of Colombia again in the future.

Naturetrek was our tour operator. This is the second trip we have been on with them, both different and we enjoyed both. They were very easy to contact and always got back swift.y and able to help with any questions we had. The information in the Boucher was very good and correct. The guides were knowledgeable, excellent in looking after us and always ready to help.

Style in Suffolk
Excellent base in the form of a third-generation family-run hotel close to the beach and a variety of nature reserves. First-rate bird guide.

We have been with Naturetrek on many occasions - for one-day outings, short breaks, local and overseas trips. Their office staff are, without fail, pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient and always try to accommodate individual requests. Their website, brochures and other paperwork are comprehensive and their guides are excellent. Furthermore, their trips are good value for money in a competitive market.

A wonderful experience from start to finish!
I joined the tour primarily because of the outstanding birding opportunities it provided, but it offered so much more than that. It opened a window onto a wonderful part of the world, showcasing so many aspects of the country and culture, from saffron production to traditional Berber carpet-making. Our tour leader was of course a highly knowledgeable birder, but was also able to share insights into geography and geology, hydrology and botany, and so much more. His passion for the region shone through, to the extent of being highly contagious! A word too for our driver who ensured the logistics worked seamlessly.

Efficient, courteous, highly professional before, during and after the trip - everything you could wish for in a tour operator.

Namibia to the Vic falls
12 days of sights across 3 countries in southern Africa. Comfortable travelling, accommodation and great food. The main focus was birds, over 320 species, but also the manuals, reptiles and other living things! Great boat trips and game drives. Very knowledgeable guides with a great sense of humour!

Super weekend in the Forest of Dean
A long weekend to explore the Forest of Dean in exceptional March weather. We were up at first light and in the field all day and continued after dinner for evening drives to see the elusive Wild Boar. Superb views of Hawfinch, Firecrest and Goshawk amongst the best highlights.

Birding in Doñana - Southern Spain in February
Great birding holiday that surpassed expectations considering the month. We got lucky with the weather, being cool but mostly sunny and more importantly, post-rain. The wetlands were wet! The birds were spectacular with some of the highlights being Glossy Ibis, Greater Flamingo, Marbled Duck, Black Winged Kite, Great Spotted Cuckoo, Red Knobbed Coot, Black Necked Grebe and Iberian Lynx. We had a great group which made for interesting conversation...

A Wild West horse town and pilgrim destination but fortunately we missed the crowds during pilgrimage.

A couple of experienced, Spanish experts with good local knowledge and a great grasp of the birds and mammals of the area. They spoke clearly and were well organized, adapting the tour to suit the weather. The long travel day was on the rainy day.

Spain - The Best of Coto Donana in Winter
We spent a great 5 days spotting many varieties of birds and an assortment of other animals. Seeing the Iberian lynx was an added bonus.
