Sri Lanka......by Night gave us an amazing opportunity to see nocturnal wildlife we would not normally see as well as taking us out during the day to see the animals and birds that are more usually seen on tours. The hotels were excellent and we also managed to visit some cultural and historical sites and an artisan workshop.

Nothing is too much trouble for Naturetrek even though we sometimes want something tailormade. Their tour guide in Sri Lanka, and in every destination we have visited with the company, are exceptionally knowledgeable and very keen to make sure the holiday is perfect for the visitors. We feel they go above and beyond the job description.

Excellent trip. Good hotels with the unusual floating hotel on the Danube Delta. Lots of wildlife especially Wall Creeper, White Tailed Eagle Squaco Herons Dice Snakes and Golden Jackal. Super tour guides.

Naturetrek is a tour operator I have used many times. Most tours are good or excellent and so far any problems or issues have been dealt with promptly and effectively. Currently waiting for an issue to be sorted out concerning the Madeira trip cancellation

Carcassone and the Cathar Country Excellent leaders with extensive knowledge of local birds, and natural history took us to sites where we saw most of the species we were hoping for and more . We were a very friendly group of 14. Good accommodation and food.è

Our second Naturetrek holiday. Both have been impressive in all respects. Not the cheapest but very good value for money.

It was a birdwatching holiday principally in Slovakia but also a couple of sites in Poland. We visited lots of different habitats from wetlands & meadows in the lowlands to forests in the mountains. We stayed in several hotels which were all excellent.

Everything was well organised from start to finish, so we were able to concentrate on enjoying the natural delights of Slovakia. The tour was led by an incredibly knowledgeable & interesting local guide.

The week's holiday was primarily a photography trip to the Isle of Mull. We took several boat trips to see white tailed sea eagles and to visit Iona, Staffa and Lunga as well as pre-breakfast searches for otters around the loch. The holiday was not of the relaxing kind but instead was jam packed with sights and learning that was thoroughly enjoyable. The group was small and sociable, the hotel perfect for my needs with friendly staff and the transport between outings efficient and comfortable. When the weather was unkind, we had plenty to keep us occupied. I loved every minute and could have stayed longer.

I have used Naturetrek many times over the last decade or more. Not everything has been plain sailing on each trip due to cancellations of flights and indeed, whole holidays, due to strikes etc. but on each occasion Naturetrek has been on the other end of the phone quickly and with excellent advice. The service I have received has been excellent which is why I continue to book with them for peace of mind. I usually travel with my husband but on this occasion I went on my own and felt very able to do that knowing the company as I do, and I felt safe and looked after throughout. Naturetrek staff are personable, good humoured and knowledgeable and their trips well thought out.

A fantastic holiday. The guides, accommodation and food were all first rate. I had a great experience and got to see a great variety of birds and other wildlife.

Everything was easy to book and the whole trip very well organised. All our needs catered for.

It was based in the south of France with the emphasis on bird watching. The guides were excellent and determined to show us as much as they possibly could. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was comfortable and in lovely gardens.

Nature trek are efficient and friendly when you contact them. If they don't know the answer to your query they will find out.

A good two centre holiday of nature field trips around the valleys and peaks of the Picos. Wonderful upland grasslands full of flowers, orchids and butterflies. We were very lucky to see a magnificent adult lammergeier glide close by us. ‘Good eyes’ in our leaders and the group made many memorable sightings. Our accommodation was comfortable, the crew in Arenas de Cabrales were incredibly welcoming.

Naturetrek staff were very helpful and supportive during initial enquiries and throughout the pre-departure phase. Transport was comfortable. The tour leaders kept us going with local knowledge, briefings and resourcefulness.

Day trip to Minsmere RSPB reserve with guide Brian Small. Can't praise Brian too highly - he was so full of information about every bird we saw or heard, and was very keen to pass this info on. He answered every question we had very clearly and was very warm and engaging.

Trip organised very efficiently - we didn't have any complaints at all.
