Tom Mabbett planned us a wonderful extension onto the main tour- from the minute we started to the end- everything was planned and arranged for us- fantastic places to stay- and the guides were amazing and could not have tried harder to find us a wide range of wildlife- we were so lucky. As above- always on hand to answer any questions- and planned our extension for us perfectly with wonderful places to stay and guides along the way.

We achieved our aim of seeing between 90-100 species of butterflies in diverse montane habitats within a week.. For me some 35 were species I had not seen before. This was for me a great success. Our naturalist leader was superb, knowing exactly where to take us, being patient In answering our questions and very knowledgeable in all matters of natural history

The holiday was to Sardinia to see dragonflies. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we saw and photographed all kinds of wildlife but especially dragonflies. Our food and accommodation was good in all three locations. Absolutely no complaints and would certainly go on another Naturetrek holiday.

This was my first holiday with Naturetrek and I was very impressed with the amount of information they provided me with prior to departure. They were also extremely helpful and friendly when I called for booking advice. Having accommodation and food all included took the stress out of the holiday and enabled our group to enjoy the whole experience.

We had a lovely time circling Sark on a boat and then out walking every day around the island watching for birds, moths, butterflies, and examining plants and lichens.

Excellent. We got most of species we wanted plus butterflies and birds . The butterfly that stood out for me was a nettle tree butterfly a new species for me. Plus at least ten species of dragonflies new to me .bird highlights was definitely the great spotted cuckoo sitting on the wall six feet from us. The guide Nicola was great very passionate that we saw as many species as possible.

I have traveled with Naturetrek a number of times now , they keep you informed on all aspects of your holiday, and there is always someone on the end of phone if you have any questions.

This was a wildlife focussed trip to Ardnamurchan in Scotland. Our guide was very experienced and took us to various locations too see the animals we wanted to and organised our trips according to our wishes.. The bunkhouse was comfortable and the food was excellent, I had a very enjoyable time.

I have used Naturetrek a number of times and always found them helpful and well organised. The holiday itineraries are designed to give the customer the best experience and they respond well to customer feedback. The group size is compact an as a solo traveller I have always felt well looked after, my accomodation has never felt inferior.

My holiday started badly as I was still waiting at Heathrow when I should have been in Glasgow! But the tour guide waited for me and that care and attention continued all week. Lots of wildlife, brilliant scenery, good food and accommodation. What could be better?

I have been travelling with Naturetrek for many years. Without exception I have always had a great wildlife experience, good accommodation and have been well looked after.

We spent a lovely week exploring the wilds of Ardnamurchan. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and knew the best spots to see a very wide range of wildlife.

Following the death of my husband I'm exploring different ways of going on holiday. I felt very well cared for on this holiday, and there was a good mixture of birding, walking and exploration of local towns. The emphasis was on Go Slow, which I appreciated and I thought the leaders were very good.

TThe tour operator was Naturetrek and this was my first time with them. I think they are a jprofessional, caring company and I will certainl be travelling with them again.

I went on this trip to learn about dragonflies and damselflies. The leader Martin Pitt was excellent. He was so patinet and explained things well to a very diverse small group. He also had wonderful knowledge of birds, butterflies and flora. It achieved all I wanted to answer my objective "should I get to understand better and identify Odonata?"

Our group of 7 ranged from one professional naturalist who wanted to spot the local rareties (he had travelled 200. miles plus) to an elderly couple who were clearly just out for the walk. Martin coped with this wide range with patience and smiles and it was a really pleasant day.
