Kruger National Park - simply stuning!

This was our covid-delayed 50th birthday present to ourself and we had an absolutely fantastic time. We booked a package deal with Naturetek which included British Airways flights and a fully guided 7-day safari in Kruger NP, South Africa with Lawson's Safaris. The 2 x guides provided by Lawson's were absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable, friendly and great fun to be with. The wildlife was stunning - we saw the Big 5 mammals (on 1 day we bagged ...

The 2 x guides provided by Lawson's were absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable, friendly and great fun to be with. The wildlife was stunning - we saw the Big 5 mammals (on 1 day we bagged all 5 before breakfast!). Although this was a mamal-themed tour we also saw 192 species of bird!

Naturetrek put together a great package deal, making sure we got the best guides and a great itinerary.

Wolf Watching in Spain

A short trip to the Cantabrian Mountains to look for wolves and enjoy the beautiful countryside. An excellent local guide was able to give us very good views of wolves and wild cat as well as so h information about other mammals, trees, flowers...........I think he knew each of the wolves by name! Very comfortable accommodation and transport.

We were out and about each day in with our patient and expert Naturetrek guides exploring the island's wildlife- birds, plants, butterflies, dragonflies, tortoises, and lizards, visiting some beautiful spots, such as the Algendar Gorge, lighthouses along the northern coast, the impressive Talaotic (bronze age) settlement at Torre d'en Galmes and Mahon harbour.

Naturetrek offers bespoke wildlife holidays. Their organisation and administration is excellent and the two guides on this tour really knew their stuff.

Wonderfully looked after and a well planned holiday

The Seychelles was exactly as the brochure depicts them! Very beautiful with the most varied scenery on each island. The Seychelles was exactly as the brochure depicts them! Very beautiful with the most varied scenery on each island. During the two week holiday we were taken by boat and plane to islands that had a lot to see in the endemic natural world and a huge amount of nesting birds. Our tour manager did everything in his power to make it enjoyable and the local guide had a very wide knowledge of the bird life and flora on each island so we learned a huge amount. Unfortunately the weather was unusually wet and stormy for part of the time but was more settled when we spent a few days, each in a very nice villa on Bird Island which was quite unique. We saw the most beautiful white powdery beaches where you could walk for miles and never see another person except birds!! The imaginative creole cuisine was fabulous especially the fresh fish which was caught daily and everybody enjoyed very much. The group was small so there was a close bond and the whole trip very much up to Naturetrek superb standard!

Our Tour Manager Rob Mileto, travelled out to Mahe with us and came to talk to each one of us on the plane. He really couldn't do enough and was always on hand to offer advice or information on anything we wanted to know. I was particularly touched when on Bird Island we were told that we wouldn't take breakfast in the restaurant but in our own kitchens (a very large space allocated to every two 'villas', Rob made a list of all our preferences, went to the supermarket before the flight to Bird Island and he and Gemma, the local guide made all our breakfasts, whatever we wanted in his own kitchen area. They then washed up all the equipment! I think that was beyond his duties and that was the kind of man he was. I have never had such a innovative and helpful tour leader!

‘UK- Private/Tailormade Day Trip’ with Naturetrek

Matt at Naturetrek organised a days birdwatching trip at Beachy Head for myself and my husband in the hope of seeing migrating Ring Ouzels. This was a Birthday present for my husband. We had a great day which included watching a bird ringing demonstration with the added thrill of seeing the birds up close and watching them released back into the wild. Matt was a brilliant guide and we had an excellent day.

Matt was local to the area and very knowledgeable about the bird life and habitats there. He used his expertise to point out many birds we may not have seen as well as seals in the sea. He paced the day taking into account the abilities of the group and was happy to suggest alternative routes or areas to visit and let us chose how to spend the day.

Fun, creative, educational and very comfortable.

This was a botanical illustration Holiday. Our tutor was a delight both as teacher and as a holiday friend. The hotel was luxurious that sat high up in the hills over looking a spectacular view. The hotel food was delicious too. I really enjoyed myself and came home feeling invigorated.
