Highlight of the holiday was our first day in Chitwan national park on the river Rapti, when we saw 110+ bird species. We went out early in the morning mist, that cleared to reveal beautiful snow capped mountain views. We then came back to a wonderful thali set lunch and had a canoe journey in the afternoon on the way to the gharial conservation park. In the evening our resort organised an introduction to local Tharu culture and dance. We also enjoyed the colours and sounds of the Tihar festival as we arrived on day one in Kathmandu where every building was decorated with lights, there were flower petal symbols at entrances and dogs wearing flower garlands.

Naturetrek can be relied on to really look after their customers and we have enjoyed every holiday with them.

Lovely bird watching trip with a good group of people. Good accommodation and helpful, cheerful staff. The guides who took use out were excellent and we all enjoyed their company.

Naturetrek was easy to deal with and kept us informed of any changes of flights etc.

Bookings and connections went very smoothly, and the guides did a great job. They drove safely and identified the birds and animals we saw always with a cheerful manner and taking into account our needs.

The Naturetrek Nepal Wildlife Adventure holiday included a ten day trek near Annapurna, river rafting and lowland birdwatching in Chitwan and Koshi Tappy. At 70 years of age, this was my first visit to Nepal and the landscape, wildlife, culture and people bowled me over. A fantastic three weeks.

The holiday was organised by Naturetrek but was led by excellent local Nepalese guides, porters and drivers. Naturetrek were excellent throughout, supplying full advanced information and responding to queries very efficiently. I had no reason to complain on any aspect.

This was a one week cruise in the Galapagos, plus a tour of Quito and a three day extension in the Amazon. At all stages including pre departure, we felt very well looked after. The accommodation was excellent and the guides were amazing.

All queries and emails have been responded to quickly. I sometimes feel like their only client.

We spent two weeks in Panama at two locations, the Canopy Tower and the Canopy Lodge. Our guides Alex and Danilo were superb and helped us see and identify a wide range of birds, mammals, plants and insects. Highlights that we saw were the many 3 and 2 toed Sloths, a silky anteater asleep in a low tree, a jaguarundi crossing our path, a glass frog, 16 different hummingbirds and many other Highlights- but too many to mention.

We have travelled with Naturetrek several times before and after Covid. We have always had an excellent wildlife experience with great knowledgeable guides and locations. Most importantly we have always felt safe. The Naturetrek team have always been there to support and help should we have had any question or issue.

The holiday was a birding holiday and we managed to see all the species I had hoped to see of course I know you will never see all the possible species available but our guide made looking for them great fun

Kruger National Park Safari- we were picked up from the airport by our two guides JP LeRoux and Gavin Sims- both were informative and friendly. We drove to Dullestroom and had an excellent afternoon observing birds and mammals. We then went to Kruger for 6 nights- our guides pointed out a wide range of mammals, birds and plant species, showing excellent knowledge and observational skills. The camps were all excellent and contained a wide range of birds. The food in the camps was high quality and very reasonable in cost. My wife and I found both guides attentive, respectful and friendly throughout with a high degree of knowledge of both the animals and the best tracks to see them. Our highlights were seeing a pack of Wild Dogs, leopards and a Serval. This was our first safari and we found it to be extremely exciting. We hope to be able to enjoy more wildlife holidays in the future.

Naturetrek provided us with detailed information of the requirements we would need for our holiday. This included details of all of the equipment we would need, insurance necessary and even checklists of possible mammals and birds. They were extremely responsive to all of my questipns.
