Fantastic experience with over a hundred species of birds and a number of mammals and butterflies

Naturetrek are brilliant and my first choice of operator for wildlife holidays, Great staff at all levels and a fantastic range of holidays from which to select.

From Quito, up and over the Andes and ending at Napo Wildlife Center in The Amazon. Enjoying a variety of habitats from western cloud forest up through Paramo and down to the eastern cloud forest and then rainforest, this holiday covered so much. Over 300 species of bird along with several species of primate, spectacled bear, mountain tapir, 2-toed sloth, black aguti, various reptiles, with the most memorable encounter, a family of giant river otters. Our guide Roberto was exceptional, with knowledge on a wide variety subject's. What a beautiful country.

They are great, I've been on many trips with them a day enjoyed them all. I have two more trips booked for next year with them.

This is the second Naturetrek to I have fine and both have been excellent

I have been on thus trip before and can highly recommend it. The guide Byron is extremely knowledgeable and knows the best locations to ideally see different species. It’s a good introduction day for waders etc at keyhaven and the hope of some harder to find species in the new forest. Having done it twice I wouldn’t do the same trip again, however I would highly recommend. I have since booked another of the Naturetrek day trips in the new forest, which is solely in the forest and very much looking forward to it. Just wish I could afford some of the holidays, they look amazing and would be a real bucket list wildlife trip!

Excellent and extremely helpful

Visits to historic houses and their gardens, with the roses in full bloom. Then birds and mammals at wonderful sites at Bruny Island, Strahan, Cradle Mountain and Freycinet giving us 113 birds, 12 mammals and two retiles. Also, fitted in visits to penal sites at Sarah and Maria Islands. Time there was all too short

I booked in 2021, so had to rearrange the trip for 2022. Kept in touch with me and provided much information, even helping me book my visa

Birding tour based in the Camargue. Small group size perfect for this type of tour. Excellent choice of hotel for a birding group The guides were excellent, and added immensely to the enjoyment of the tour being able to hear and see birds that we would have missed on our own.

We stayed at the superb Kafunta Lodge which is just outside South Luangwe. The setting was spectacular with elephant, hippo, giraffe, puku, baboon etc coming to drink daily by the lodge. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food was excellent. We went on game drives morning and evening and the guides knowledge was most impressive.

They were most efficient and could not have been more helpful. This is the third holiday I have had with them and each one was very well organised and enjoyable.
