Stunning
Travelled to the Pantanal with Naturetrek organising the whole itinerary! We spent a night at the Santa THERESA Lodge and then onto the Flotel on the Cuiaba River! I was almost guaranteed seeing what I went to the Panatanal for and that was seeing the jaguar! We saw 8 sightings of 6 different jaguar - exhilarating ! I would definitely go back to the Pantanal and definitely use Naturetrek again - Dan Free and the whole staff were outstanding!

I pretty much summed it up previously

Variety
Naturetrek always make such good use of the time we spend on the tour. There was a super variety of animals, birds and experiences: fast boat rides, slow boat rides; walking in the forest, along the river around thelodges and in the savannah. The journeys time are used well to spot animals and birds, too. Staying in the hotel floating on the river was wonderful and so was the Iguassu Falls. Naturetrek guides are knowledgeable and patient. They calmly manage the diversity within the group and all the bookings, transfers etc run smoothly. The lodges/hotels are of good quality and are often chosen because of their wildlife-friendly grounds. The company is helpful pre-departure and one feels very safe on their tours.

Wonderful Wildlife Experiences In Brazil
The focus of our 17 day wildlife holiday in Brazil was Brazil's 'Big Five' - Maned Wolf, Giant Anteater, Brazilian Tapir, Jaguar and Giant River Otter all of which we saw and experienced at close range. The highlight for me was seeing the Maned Wolf in the wild in daylight, a very rare and precious experience which I could never have dreampt would be possible. This and our other fantastic wildlife encounters were due to the kmowledge, expertise and skill of our naturalist guides working closely, in particular, with Loureval who has studied and built a relationship of trust with successive generations of Maned Wolf present on his land. Naturetrek, our tour operator, always research an area and the wildlife to be found there most thoroughly and it is my opinion that they offer the best wildlife experiences possible in any given destination.

As mentioned above, I really appreciate the knowledge, expertise and skill of guides used by Naturetrek. I feel that all staff at Naturetrek have a genuine interest and love of wildlife in addition to always being very helpful, friendly and responsive. They feel like so much more than a tour operator and I enjoy the open days they run with guided local walks and other wildlife encounters such as seeing the moths in their trap. This was my seventh trip with Naturetrek and I hope to be doing many more.

For us this has to be one of the best holiday experiences ever.

Always a pleasure to deal with, knowledgeable and friendly, a treat to visit and you can speak directly with or arrange to see someone who has been on the holiday you may be considering - no having to deal with an anonymous call centre! Pricing is keen too - you get a lot for your money! Highly recommended

thrilling nature watching
4 whale watching boat trips out of Monterey Bay, each one different, each one exciting with over 10 blue whales and many more hump backs, some lunge feeding close to the boat plus dolphins, sealions, sea otters and birds

Spectacular scenery, wonderful wildlife and good humoured tour group
We spent a week on the Ardnamurchan peninsula in Scotland enjoying spectacular scenery and looking for wildlife. Optional pre-breakfast early morning visits to the loch-side provided us with otter sightings and late night vehicle excursions gave a few of us a incredible and unexpected sighting of a wildcat. Golden eagles soaring high above, porpoise in the loch, a wonderful boat trip to the isle of Muck and gannets diving into the sea. Lovely ...

Golden eagles soaring high above, porpoise in the loch, a wonderful boat trip to the isle of Muck and gannets diving into the sea. Lovely memories to cherish. I doubt we would have seen any of these without the help of our patient and knowledgeable tour guide. All this and the people we shared each day with made it a great holiday.

Scotland's mammals & highlights of the highlands
Small group (9) plus leader who all got on very well. Good accommodation close to lock sunart. Great food. Great views of all target mammals and birds, really good leader who knew where to take us. Also I think it was great value for money. Would do this holiday again. Have been on a number of nature trek holidays and always good. These small group holidays work really well for couples or singles like me. Thanks to all

Naturetrek have always produced the goods. Think this is the eighth trip with them and always more than happy. Am going away again with them again at Christmas. The catalog has expanded over the years and loads of choice. I will be booking my next holiday with them when I can decide where to go next. Thanks naturetrek

Delightful wildlife group holiday in the Scottish Highlands
My week on the remote, wild peninsula of Ardnamurchan in the Western Highlands was both enjoyable and rewarding. I joined a lovely bunch of wildlife enthusiasts and a dedicated tour leader to look for, and find, pine martins, porpoises, red deer, golden eagles and heaps more flora and fauna. I laughed a lot and kept great company throughout the eight day holiday. I recommend a Naturetrek holiday!
