Wildlife watching in Paradise
It was a 10-day tented safari to the Okavango Delta in Botswana. The wildlife was amazing; the amount of it and the way that we could get so close blew my mind. I had a really wonderful time, taking over 2500 photos in the process so hopefully it will stay in my thoughts for a long, long time to come. The guide was brilliant and how the cook and his helpers produced such gorgeous food out in the wild on an open fire is mindboggling. My best ...

Naturetrek could not be more helpful, They where always on the end of the phone if we had a question. They even told the camp cook and our airline about my girlfriends dietary problems (something that does not usually happen) so she had a better time than she thought she would. The pack we received with our final confirmation was also very thorough, containing lots of relevant information, including a check list of all the animals that we could/might see.

The birds, other wildlife and cultural history of Northern Peru.
Over 17 days we travelled from the Amazonian rainforest over the Andes to the Pacific coast of Northern Peru. But it wasn't just birds as there were many other memorable experiences too - butterflies, mammals including the Amazon Pink River Dolphin - fantastic as they played around our small boat. But it wasn't just birds as there were many other memorable experiences too - butterflies, mammals including the Amazon Pink River Dolphin - fantastic as they played around our small boat. Perhaps our most memorable time was listening to the night sounds in the thick dark forest - awesome!! The cultural history of Peru is just as interesting as the natural aspects and we visited two wonderful sites, Kuelep hill fort and The Lord of Sipan Museum. The accommodation and food was good to excellent throughout with our time staying in a Homestead and the end of tour seafood banquet, in a restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean, being our favourites. Finally our guides were of the highest quality - knowledgeable and friendly, and contributed significantly to the success of the trip. Overall it was a fantastic trip!

Naturetrek are a top class wildlife tour operator. They understand that it's not just about seeing every bird or animal that moves but about providing an overall experience. The tour was organised and conducted in a very professional manner with no negative issues. This includes 3 extra days that we took before the start of the main tour. We would definitely recommend Naturetrek to anyone interested in wildlife holidays but who also wishes to experience other aspects of the countries they visit.

Peru Highlights - Swimming with Sealions, the Tambopata rainforest and the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
This was just over 2 weeks and Nature Trek packed in so much adventure into that short time. We swam with sea lions after a boat trip out of Lima. Next we travelled over 100 miles up the Tambopata river to spend 3 nights in the rainforest. It was hot and humid but the lodge was amazing with good food and a pair of Macaws that raided rooms and cupboards for food. Next we travelled over 100 miles up the Tambopata river to spend 3 nights in the rainforest. It was hot and humid but the lodge was amazing with good food and a pair of Macaws that raided rooms and cupboards for food. Nature Trek took us out every morning and evening on foot or by canoe to see the Macaws and other wildlife in the area. Next it was back down the river and a flight to Cusco which is a picturesque town at approximately 3400 metres. We left here to walk the Inca Trail over 5 days and 4 nights. This was hard with 3 days of steep climbs and descents at altitude. However, as we arrived at the Sun Gate above Machu Picchu someone asked me "How far is it that way?" It takes 4 days I replied - and that made us all feel special. The tour was busy but it ran like clockwork. All the guides, drivers, porters were friendly and helpful and they seemed delighted to show us their country from the wildlife to contemporary Peru and the Inca civilization. I am still going through the 5000 photos we took. Thanks Nature trek for a special experience.

Nature Trek has a great website but they are always available by email and phone to answer queries. The staff are unfailingly helpful, friendly and polite. We have been on 4 holidays with them and we will be going again. They are well organised and they provide good information in advance to allow you to prepare. The holidays we have been on have been very busy. They are wildlife holidays so the emphasis is on getting out early to see the birds and the Nature Trek guides and the local guides have worked hard to ensure we saw many different species but they were also good at showing us reptiles, butterflies and flowers. The Gambia trip was more relaxed as a one center holiday and allowed us time in the middle of the day to use the hotel facilities. They are not the cheapest tour operator of this type but I have found them very good value.

Wolf Watching Wonderland
Day 1: BAM!!! 'That's an actual, real life, wolf. Like, actually' Day 2: BOOYAH!!! 'Another real life wolf, like in the flesh' DAY 3: BOOM!!! 'Come on, what member of the pack are you bribing here?' Wolves in the Spanish wilderness. The title sells itself.

Wolf watching in Spain
Fabulous 5 days with expert guides, looking for wolves, wild cats & beats. We stayed in a quaint old farmhouse that was cozy & comfy. All good was included, and was local traditional Spanish food. Vegetarians were well catered for. We had 2 off road vehicles and went off the beaten track and beyond, searching & finding the wildlife we were looking for.

Madagascar's Endemic Birds and other amazing creatures
I saw over 100 bird species, almost all of which are endemic to Madagascar or the Malagasy region. Spectacular birds included many Vangas, Ground-rollers and Mesites; views were often close enough to obtain superb photographs. In addition many species of lemur (including Indri), chameleons, reptiles, invertebrates and wild flowers were seen. The tour was well structured through visits to multiple habitats, and lead by a Malagasy national guide, a British guide and several local guides in each of the areas visited. Madagascar is a fascinating place, well worth visiting for its diversity of wildlife.

Everything I expected and more
The holiday was well planned, well run - with an excellent guide, who was a font of all knowledge - and fun. I saw so many whales and dolphins, but also other wildlife I hadn't anticipated. Would definitely recommend.

Jura & Islay islands
When i go on holiday I want some things to be right first of all like the bed to be firm and the food to be reasonable. I was very happy with both and then off course the location was amazing good company and my complements to the hotel staff in both locations.
