Just Jaguars They stole my heart

I loved this holiday from start to finish. The wildlife of Brazil is wonderful, my main aim was to see the Jaguars in their natural habitat, I was not disappointed to view these magnificent beasts like this was a true privilege, spellbinding & breathtaking. we sat & watched them move, sleep, hunt & swim at close quarters. Something I will never forget, & I am very fortunate to be widely travelled. The lodges were friendly & surrounded by wild life...

Something I will never forget, & I am very fortunate to be widely travelled. The lodges were friendly & surrounded by wild life. I have not even mentioned the giant river otters, tapier, & giant anteater & beautiful ocelot, not to mention the comical capybara, we were so lucky. It was worth every penny & I would pay it all again & go back in a shot. Well organised well run tour Very happy, I do have to mention the guide they provided, his knowledge, was excellent ,he had a sense of humour & catered for everyone's needs.

My first experience with Naturetrek having wanted to see the Jaguars they provided the trip suitable for me & guided me in the correct tour to take, they even added on an extension form me to Iguazu Falls. Trip details & pre departure details all comprehensive. They were always happy to help out with any query one might have. A well thought out trip that was outstanding from star to finish. I will most defiantly use them again

Borneo Birding Tour with Naturetrek

My Dad and I had a great time birding in Sabah in Borneo. Organised by Naturetrek we saw a huge number of birds, butterflies and oranguatans, staying in some great hotels.

Would recommend and will consider going away with Naturetrek again, guide was very informed and the staff at Naturetrek great at answering our various questions prior to the trip. Was also good to have flexibility on the flights, as it allowed us to travel back a week later and do our own thing. The tour: http://www.naturetrek.co.uk/tour.aspx?id=307

Magnificent mammals & birds (literally) on the doorstep of a luxury safari lodge

A short and very reasonably-priced holiday beside the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. Safari trips by vehicle with a friendly and knowledgeable local guide for excellent viewing of most of the famous African mammals and exotic birds. Equally possible to view many from the relaxing terraces of a luxury safari lodge, which overlooks the flood plain of the river bordering the Park. Unforgettable close but safe encounters with deepest Africa...

Good Birding In Excellent Company

All the arrangements went off smoothly. The suggested B&B accommodation near Gatwick was a fascinating Art Deco exhibition in itself , which was a good start to the trip , and there were no problems with the journey.

An amazing birdwatching journey across Bolivia

We travelled with Naturetrek on the Lowlands and then Highlands Bolivia tours in October 2016. This was an incredible holiday with amazing scenery from rainforest to mountains. Naturetrek offer something different. For the birdwatching trips we want to take they offer intense and dedicated birding mixed with an interest in other wildlife, scenery and local culture. They are well guided tours and Naturetrek are experienced at organising a good itinerary and taking you to see what you have set your heart on. The groups are well led and generally filled with interesting people with similar interests.

Cat-tastic!

A super Naturetrek holiday seeking out the rare and charismatic Jaguar. We were 100% successful in locating and watching these brilliant big cats, with 10 sightings of 6 individuals during our stay at the Jaguar Flotel. We enjoyed myriad of other wildlife from Anaconda to Ocelot and there was a supporting cast of beautiful birds. Our intrepid and eagle-eyed guide Paulo was superb and catered for our every need and the accommodation was comfortable ...

Well organised and went like clockwork.

I booked the holiday mainly to see the Komodo dragon, which I did, The crew on the Mermaid were excellent and I could not fault their care and attention. The secondary part of the holiday was to enable me to be at a friends wedding at the end of October. The tailormade holiday extension was very well organised and fitted in with my requests for where I wished to visit. The chosen guides were very good and seemed in my opinion to go well beyond ...

The secondary part of the holiday was to enable me to be at a friends wedding at the end of October. The tailormade holiday extension was very well organised and fitted in with my requests for where I wished to visit. The chosen guides were very good and seemed in my opinion to go well beyond what I had expected. The accommodation was basic in some cases which suited me, as all I required was a clean bed and a good meal in the evening. This was because I was out at dawn and in late.

I have used Naturetrek on numerous occasions and have always found them to be very helpful and they try to meet my requirements, and do so. The staff are all very friendly and do their utmost to answer any queries that I might have. I certainly would recommend them.

All the local guides and boatmen had a wonderful knowledge of the wild life in their area and were able to show us so much. The food was much better than anticipated and the accommodation was good. Wine was a bit expensive but we did treat ourselves to one bottle at the Jaguar Flotel and it was delicious!

A wonderful holiday for bird watchers

We travelled to the Brandenburg area of Germany for the annual bird migration. We saw lots of interesting birds under the direction of our leader. There were 45,000 Common Cranes which went to their roost at dusk. The sight and sound of them flying overhead for an hour at dusk was truly amazing.

Naturetrek work hard at ensuring you see as much wildlife as possible, but it is optional to get up for the 7:00 a.m. bird watch walk.
