Birds, botany, brilliant!
From start to finish this holiday was well planned and executed. Nothing was overlooked. Both guides were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They kept an eye on factors such as weather and changed the itinerary in order for us to experience the best. Birds an plants were in abundance with several firsts for me. Go Slow in Austria was the perfect adventure. The scenery was amazing, hotel wonderful and food delicious.

First class organisation. Pre holiday information was clear and concise. Real life experience matched up to holiday brochure descriptions. Website is also clear and informative. All aspects of the holiday were spot on.

Peaceful, warm with a variety of wildlife and fabulous orchids
I’ve never been to this part of France before - La Brenne. A relatively uninhabited area full of lakes and wonderful wildlife. The lack of cats meant we could heat the birds all day - golden orioles and nightingales singing were a daily backdrop to our excursions

I’ve travelled with this company on 15 occasions now - so they must be doing something right! Huge range of holidays to choose from and the service from the office is always timely and courteous. The leaders are knowledgeable and genuinely interested in sharing that knowledge. Group participants have a range of experience and always happy to share their knowledge too. A win win situation

Naturetrek holiday Bulgaria's Dragonflies June 2024
The holiday within Bulgaria (with a day in Greece) had been planned meticulously and ran very smoothly. A huge variety of wildlife was seen including 52 dragonfly and damselfly species and also, some exciting butterflies and great birds including a pair of Wallcreepers. The trip stayed in some comfortable rural hotels that helped give a flavour of the country and its people; there was even a trip to a famous monastery on the last day. I thoroughly ...

Beautiful Butterflies and wonderful scenery
Comfortable accommodation set on the edge of a small village in the foothills of the Pyrenees with its own wildflower meadow and beautiful views. Knowledgeable guides who drove us many miles to even more superb scenery and butterflies.

Extremely enjoyable nature trek through the stunning scenery of the Dolomites
Well organised and thoroughly enjoyable trip to the Fassa Valley in the Dolomites with Nature Trek. The guides were extremely knowledgeable of the area and its flora and fauna. They were very mindful of individuals' needs and the daily walks were beautiful and informative. The range of flowers we saw was exceptional and we even managed to get out at night to look for glow worms and to detect bats. We stayed at a wonderful hotel with extremely ...

I have travelled abroad with Nature Trek only twice so far and both times the trip has been very well organised with excellent pre-trip information and a person at the end of a phone if need be. The locations are always well research with very experienced guides who obviously know the area and its people well. The accommodation and food are of a very high standard.

Birdwatching in the New Forest
Every effort was made to maximise the number of birds seen, and to ensure that everybody got a good view. Hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

This is not the first time I have used Naturetrek. They were helpful and efficient as I've found them to be on all previous occasions.

Amazing St Kilda and Island trip
A boat off the island off the west coast of Scotland. One of the many highlights was a visit to the remote Islands of St Kilda. Breathing taking scenery and wildlife. Another highlight was the island of Lunga to watch the beautiful puffins. They were so close and didn’t seemed bothered by us. I could watch them fly back to the nests with sand eels in their mouths. Watching and hearing the seals play and bask in the sun on Oransay was amazing...

The landscapes are very different in the islands with sheer cliffs, mountains, sandy beaches, lush forested areas, hills, fields with an array of wild flowers, small bays to wide open seas and big skies. The history of the islands are fascinating. The people we met were so friendly and welcoming. Just a stunning are to visit and experience despite the weather. The food was excellent.

Naturetrek is a great tour operator. Information about the holidays are very informative and staff are always so helpful with answering any questions. Everyone working for Naturetrek are knowledgeable and passionate about the holidays with experts as tour guides. Booking is so easy and everything needed for the holiday is provided with suggestions on what to pack for each specific holiday destination which is invaluable if you haven’t been to the country before. It’s easy to get in contact with Naturetrek. The staff do everything they can to ensure the holiday goes smoothly. The range and variety of holidays they provide is fantastic. We’ve been on 3 holidays so far and have had an amazing experience for all of them. The tour partners they work with such as for boat trips are great and have the same ethos as Naturetrek in providing a fantastic service with staff who are passionate about nature. The tour guides are so talented with so much knowledge and passion for nature. Even after the holiday sending through information about unusual species of wildlife. The trip reports are a lovely reminder of the holiday but also very helpful when looking at booking a holiday. The cost of the holidays may seem expensive but in reality they are such great value when considering what is included. A company truly invested in giving experiences of the wonders of nature and all it has to offer us.
