Our small group was led by Stephen, an expert Naturetrek birder who made our trip thoroughly enjoyable!

Naturetrek took care of all trip details. All Naturetrek staff communicated all relevant information effectively and in a timely manner!

Every day was an adventure, we loved every minute, scenery amazing and we learned so much about butterflies, birds and flowers.

Very knowledgeable.. We were looked after so well, we couldn’t have asked for better (and the picnic lunches were amazing)

Our holiday was all about wildlife viewing especially the chance to see jaguar. We stayed in some good accommodation. Some simplistic and others quirky. We loved staying on the Flotel and going off each day to try and see all the wildlife of the Pantanal. We were lucky to see jaguar on each of our boat trips - we had 16 sightings in all. We also saw giant otters and lots of different birds. Raul our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and great fun. The trip we chose was a small group trip. We’ve never done this before but would certainly do it again. We chose two extensions to the main trip - to Iguazú Falls and Rio. I’m really glad we did these. The falls were magnificent and the power of the water immense. Rio was wonderful. Our hotel looked over Copacabana beach which was a hive of activity. I think you can buy everything on the beach!

We had really great service from the team. Tom our main contact was always on hand to answer our questions.

We had an amazing time in Borneo, we were lucky enough to see the Clouded Leopards, saw 2 families of elephants on 5 occasions and had some wonderful close encounters with Orangutan, Proboscis monkeys, silver-leaf langurs and crab-eating macaques !!! Also a quite close enough encounter with a salt-water crocodile and a pit viper! Our guide Henry was absolutely brilliant in every way, and our drivers Mex and Albert, and the boatman Basri were also fantastic. They were all extremely courteous , professional and highly skilled. The food was wonderful and plentiful, and the lodges were great. Deramakot accommodation was basic but fine….we had the most fabulous time and brought home many memories and even more photos!!!

Information was timely and detailed…..the species checklist was comprehensive and invaluable

Wandering through flower meadows and mountains full of orchids, gentian and lots of other flowers, stunning scenery with a group of like-minded enthusiasts. Staying in a great friendly hotel with superb food. Two excellent wildlife guides.

Knowledgeable staff, excellent administration and planning. Well organised travel arrangements. Interesting destinations with various nature and wildlife themes. Excellent and knowledgeable tour leaders.

Although only three nights in an upmarket hotel in the lovely village of Ashford-on-the-Water we really packed in an enormous amount over the four full days. For me after dinner on the first evening when we ventured out again looking for Nightjar, Woodcock & Snipe was the most special. Although we heard all three in a short space of time, we also saw Woodcock circling in great arcs with Nightjar also taking flight. On the drive back a Barn Owl on a post seemed unphased by the head lights, after a while hovering just above and back from the post a bit, really incredible to see how fast the wings move, then after diving down to collect it's dinner flew off across the road in front of us. Amazing to have such a prolonged view of this bird and so close. Lots of other highlights too many to mention, Wood Warblers, Redstarts, Pied Flycatchers etc etc

Naturetrek is a reliable and professional wildlife adventure specialist company. I have always found them to be well organised, informative, relaxed and friendly. They pay alot of attention to detail yet are able to view the whole picture so that the tour package runs smoothly. Pre-departure information is excellent with guides being extremely knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge freely.

We went on Naturetrek’s Just Jaguars tour in the Pantanal. Staying at two land based lodges and the Jaguar “Flotel”on the river Cuiabá. Stunning scenery, wildlife and accommodation. Excellent guiding and boat excursions throughout made for an excellent experience with multiple photo opportunities.

We have now travelled a number of times with Naturetrek. They have never let us down - informative, well organised and able to tweak itinerary to suit individual tastes. Accommodation and guides are generally excellent.

This was my first time to visit Sark. It was a small group with various backgrounds but the tour guide was excellent and adapted the Tripp to accommodate individual interests, abilities, and the weather!

Well organised, skilled guides, the right amount of information sent at the right time. No glitches, excellent accommodation.

We had a wonderful holiday in the Bavarian Alps. We stayed in the Alpenhotel Hundsreitlehen, a beautifully situated hotel with wonderful views of mountains and where the accommodation, food and helpfulness of the staff was exceptionally good. We had day trips to different parts of the Berchtesgaden National Park for excellent guided walks where we explored the flowers, birds and mammals of the region. The guides were first rate, exceptionally knowledgeable and enabled us to see many of the key species that we were hoping to see. Among the many wonderful trips was an excellent boat trip on Konigssee followed by a walk, a visit to Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle'sNest), taking the lift up and walking back down as well as a day trip walking around Salzburg.

We have been on several trips with this tour operator and as we have always found the whole trip was well organised. We added on some extra days at the end and again the tour operator made this possible ensuring that our accommodation, transfers to the airport and flights worked efficiently. They were also very easy to contact if there were any queries.
