The trip followed an excellent itinerary, combining the use of safari trucks, boats and walking to best see the available wildlife and sights. From boats we had close encounters with no less than seven individual Jaguars spotted on river banks, saw multiple individuals and groups of Giant Otters and many species of birds. Well-managed feeding stations allowed close encounters with Ocelots, Black Howler Monkeys and Capuchin Monkeys. We had plenty of time allowed to view the Iguazu Falls from both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides and to explore the surrounding forested areas. There were so many amazing moments during the trip that it would be impossible to list them but every day brought new highlights. All accommodation was comfortable with private facilities and good food provided - the Jaguar Suites flotel and SouthWild Pantanal were particularly good in this regard. An excellent tour and highly recommended to all passionate about nature and wildlife.

With wildlife holidays, little can be guaranteed but the itinerary and tour leader provided by Naturetrek allowed us to not only see amazing wildlife and sights but to also spend time getting to know our subjects and capture memorable photographs. Our tour leader was not only a very knowledgeable naturalist but also very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist those on the trip in all aspects of the holiday. He was also helpful to photographers, identifying the best angles for shots, given available visibility and lighting.

A wildlife watching break over 4 days, with the benefit of an incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful tour guide. Wildlife shows up when it wants to so nothing is guaranteed but a flexible approach to unpredictable weather made all the difference

A visit to the delightful island of Alderney, exploring its wildlife and history, enjoying the scenery, culture, food and drink. The holiday provided everything I expected and more and the accommodation couldn't have been better.

I've travelled with Naturetrek on several occasions and always enjoyed the holidays. Their tour managers, both in the office and on the tours, are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

There was a great variety of wildlife to view from insects and plant life to seabirds and mammals. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. The accommodation was superb and the guides organised meals to suit everyone.

What a superb week I spent with Naturetrek on this beautiful island. It helped of course that the weather was excellent, but the leader had planned every detail of the holiday to ensure all the group got the most from the experience. The accommodation and food were wonderful too. I can o recommend Naturetrek as coming up trumps yet again.

Personal and very helpful throughout

It was focussing on alpine flowers and we were taken to some stunning places. The holiday was designed to be less strenuous but stil include walks and visits by cable car/ chair lifts to higher areas

Naturetrek focussed on wildlife holidays with small groups and expert leaders. They are well planned, I rushed and individual interests are catered for.

An unforgettable week in Zambia. The abundance of wildlife, and the depth of knowledge of our guide were breath-taking. Each day we saw animals and birds in the national park, but also around our lodgings, and on the drive to Luangwa. We spent one morning in the nearby village, and found the school an inspiration, as well as the local craftspeople.

I had used Naturetrek once before, and was impressed by their down-to-Earth way of working. This holiday ran just as smoothly, and I felt confident that any problems we may encounter would be overcome with honesty and efficiency. (The only problems were with the airline - a nuisance, but not enough to spoil the holiday)

It was our first holiday using Naturetrek and we were not disappointed! Our holiday focused on the birdlife and wine of the Rioja, Navara and Pyrenees regions of Spain.

It was our first time using Naturetrek. They were very well organised, friendly and helpful to deal with and through the pre holiday documents they provided, made us confident that we were important to them. We are already considering other holidays with Naturetrek.

A full-board week's holiday in the Causses area of France above the Gorge du Tarn. Hunting for flowers, birds and insects in the splendid, unpopulated, hilly area of France was a delight. The knowledge of the two leaders was excellent and the record they kept of our sightings was impeccable.

They provided an accurate summary of the holiday. The trip was not cheap but there were 2 guide/drivers for maximum14 people. Pre departure information was informative and sent in plenty of time. Very efficient and pleasant with queries on the phone.

Over eight trips out on the catamaran we saw five species of whales and five species of dolphin. On the last trip with the sun turning the sea to gold and the boat surrounded by dolphins the sight was one I will never forget. There was lots of choice of things to do on our two land based days as well.

Both Naturetrek and Futurismo who run the boat trips are well organised, friendly and helpful. The marine biologists on the catamaran were very knowledgeable as was the Naturetrek tour guide.
