So exciting to see Orcas and Humpback Whales. The Northern Lights were well worth going out at Midnight into bitter cold with deep snow on the ground. The ships we were on was small enough to be cosy (33 passengers), but large enough to be well equipped and comfortable. The food and service were excellent.

A fantastic holiday in the South Pacific, cruising around several groups of Solomon Islands, focussing on Whales, Dolphins & snorkelling while taking in this beautiful unspoilt pristine environment. Naturetrek provided terrific organisation & leadership to enable our group to maximise our experiences and enjoy the trip. The small ship had a crew of 11 who supported us and delivered wonderful meals, an expert marine biologist to spot & identify the wildlife and a superb leader who ensured we all enjoyed & maximised our trip. This team ensured I had an excellent holiday and could really focus on the wildlife. We saw lots of Dolphin pods, and several Whale species, in total 17 species, 59 birds and more than 100 species of fish. An amazing trip facilitated brilliantly by Naturetrek to enable me to enjoy a holiday of a lifetime.

Fantastic organisation, fabulous leader, provided a first class base re the ship and crew to ensure a dream trip, cruising the Solomon Islands to see lots of wildlife. Ensured we saw everything and identified species through their expertise.

It was a guided tour of the best birding sites on the Somerset Levels. Our tour guides took us to excellent vantage points to see numerous types of birds throughout the two days and the Starling Murmuration both evenings which exceeded all my expectations and the great take off of the roosting starlings one morning.

Our first experience of Naturetrek and it will not be the last as the organisation was first class and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and amiable.

Great hotel in Wells with good room and lovely food. Organised birdwatching to places that I would never found alone with knowledgeable guides and comfortable transport. Highlight was 3 visits to the 800.000 starlings roosting on the wetland reeds with some incredible views of murmurations , the noise and movement has to be seen to be believed. One of my bucket list achieved well in above of expectations!

Organised, helpful and quick to sort out details. Couldn't fault them.

A lovely relaxed natural history holiday in Portugal. Superb guides, great hotels food and wine. Plenty of variety

Looked aftervus very well away just need to not be so London focussed with flights.

A group weekend, guided by 2 expert naturalists, who also drove us to several nature reserves. The highlights were the starlings, dusk and dawn spectacular aerial displays. Our hotel was a handsome listed building on the cathedral square, serving excellent food.

I have been on guided birdwatching trips with Naturetrek a number of times, and like their comprehensive service and expert guides.

Gambia in style. A seven day bird watching holiday in a small resort overlooking a creek of the River Gambia. The setting was wonderful with views over the river and mangrove swamps. The facilities at the resort were excellent, particularly the bar and the swimming pool. Meals were tasty and varied. Our lodge was a little disappointing with no flushing lavatory and a lack of adequate lighting for reading and relaxing. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly although not always totally reliable. We could have quire happily spent the whole day at the resort enjoying the wildlife and relaxing by the pool without going on the excursions, good as they were.

Our tour operator was efficient and helpful at every stage. My wife's needs (mobility issues) were treated sympathetically and the local drivers and guides were very caring and supportive. The knowledge of the guides and our tour leader was remarkable, particularly the ability to point out birds and other wildlife that we may not have found otherwise. Our tour leader was great company and put everybody at their ease so that the holiday was a successful social occasion. The excursions by canoe, on foot and by bus were pitched just right, in terms of locations, time of day and catering for all levels of expertise. The tour was thoroughly enjoyed by myself, slightly less so by my wife who found some of the bird talk obsessive. I would like to make two suggestions that would have enhanced by enjoyment still further. 1) More information about the birds and other wildlife we saw, (sometimes it was a matter of identification and little else) and 2) a night-time excursion with spotlights to look for nocturnal or crepuscular creatures.

Emirates to Brisbane for 3 nights to recover from time difference, then on to the Solomon Islands boarding dive boat for cruise to look for cetaceans. Up to 6 species seen per day. Also opportunity for snorkling on the wonderful reefs. Time allowed for a visit to a village for a show of dancing.

Naturetrek made all the arrangements and everything worked perfectly including 2 excellent guides.

The tour being over the Christmas period was a excellent choice, on cooking or in laws. The group size was reduced to four due to the Gatwick Airport drone problem. Whilst it was disappointing for these who could not make the journey, the four had an excellent time with out local guide. The hotel were lovely and the food very good. I would recommend the Cyprus at Christmas with Naturetrek..

Naturetrek are a wild life tour company and must be the largest with the UK. It offers many trips of different holidays with many different themes. They have full on value for money tours to take it easy trips. They also operate all year were several do not operate over the Christmas period.
