Fantastic Wildlife in Japan
An excellent holiday showcasing the major species on the island of Hokkaido, Japan with opportunity to see some are species. An added bonus was the beauty of Hokkaido in winter.

I can recommend Naturetrek. Very good liaison pre holiday. On tour everything was well organised and we stayed in some lovely traditional inns.

Discovering wildlife in Ecuador

The trip was made extra special by the knowledge, care and attention of the guides who accompanied our small group, the high quality of the accommodation throughout the trip and the excellent service of crew on the Galapagos cruise boat. Ecuador is an amazing place to visit for the birdlife, people and food and I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to experience the Galapagos. I'm still sorting through my 2500+ photos!

Naturetrek were very knowledgeable about the country and the places I visited. They obviously take a lot of care in selecting the local providers in Ecuador as the guiding and level of service were incredible. The Galapagos part of the trip was an add on following conversations with their Ecuador specialist in the U.K. - They put together a bespoke package that dovetailed my Andes and Amazon tour with an ongoing Galapagos tour. This was achieved at a manageable cost to me because of their policy to not charge a single supplement for singles willing to share a cabin, I'm so grateful that those early conversations took me to the Galápagos Islands which were a magical after an already exceptional experience birding on the mainland.

Polar Perfection: Antarctica, the Falklands & South Georgia
An exciting trip rich with wildlife - penguins, petrels, prions (birds), and pinnipeds - and offering an exhilarating polar plunge. Enjoy amazing zodiac rides to beaches where you are literally tripping over penguins, seals and pups. Encounter seas of hundreds of thousands of penguins, lands blanketed in snow and ice, and maneuver around Icebergs, bergy bits, and floe ice at sea. On our ship, Ortelius, we enjoyed fantastic food and service...

I travel with Naturetrek because the focus is on wildlife. This trip didn't let me down - I was very happy to see seven species of penguin and seven species of seals.

Truly amazing!
An epic main trip to the Galapagos with a brilliant guide with additional trips to the cloud forest, the Andes and the Amazon Jungle on the Napo River. A huge range of environments with flora and fauna in their natural habitats. An unforgettable experience.

Naturetrek provided a very well organised trip that ran smoothly from beginning to end. The information they provided was helpful and informative and their representatives and guides on the ground were excellent

Awe inspiring
Years ago my parents travelled to South Georgia to see penguins, a long time before David Attenborough, so the opportunity to visit the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica was a must.

Helpful and professional re booking/administration. The three tour guides were exceptional and so self-deprecating, extremely knowledgable but not overpowering.

Exciting wildlife and landscapes
A birding safari from Victoria Falls to Windhoek.

Naturetrek did a good organisational job. The Safariwise guides were top class.

Best of Ethiopia
Wonderful tour for 3 weeks. Wildlife including seeing Gelada baboons and sitting amongst them while they were feeding. Also seeing Ethiopian wolves. Wonderful visitto Lalibela and visiting rock churches. Hearing stories about the Ark of the covenant.

Naturetrek. Wonderful wildlife holidays led by experts.

Beautiful
Fantastic opportunity to see Wildcats in the wild, as well as raptors, Wallcreeper and other birds, all in the beautiful Navarra countryside, with pleasant travelling companions, staying in comfortable accommodation with home-cooked food in a small family-run village hotel.

Naturetrek: My first time with this operator. Very well organised trip with excellent guides. Would use again.

Big experience in a small package!
Although just a weekend birdwatching break, this holiday had everything. A lovely hotel with attentive and helpful staff, excellent food, a friendly group and an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who planned things perfectly. In 48 hours we spotted 96 varieties of birds between us, but the whole weekend was relaxed and very enjoyable. We even managed to dodge the showers! Highly recommended in all aspects.

Friendly and helpful when I booked the holiday by phone, useful information provided beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect and what to take. My extra day's stay was even organised by the tour operator (I'd assumed I'd need to sort this out myself). This was my third holiday with Naturetrek and each time I have been impressed by the detailed and thoughtful organisation.

Absolutely stunning!
The journey was long with tiring hours to connect flights in Mumbai - but it was worth it! Bhopal is unlikely to be on a visitor's wish list but it was a very interesting day with a local guide. The Bhimbetka rock shelters (UNESCO world heritage site) on the drive to Satpura are not to be missed. The Bhimbetka rock shelters (UNESCO world heritage site) on the drive to Satpura are not to be missed. We stayed in a glorious tent in Reni Pani Jungle Lodge - this conservation camp is a haven of calm and tranquility in which to relax after the jeep safaris into the part. We had good sightings of a tiger, two leopards, three sloth bears and seven wild dogs - not to mention birds. Food was good and there was no shortage of hot water. The guides/naturalists were exceptional and all the staff at the lodge were genuinely hospitable.

This was our third trip with Naturetrek. As for previous tours, it was very well organised so we felt that we did and saw about as much as was possible in a relatively short time.
