Whale watching off Baja California and the Sea of Cortez. We saw blue, sperm and humpback whales, in large numbers and very active, dolphins and many species of birds. The crew of the Searcher ( our home for 12 days) were experienced, professional. very friendly and included first rate chefs.

It was a non-stop tour which covered a range of environments in order to see a large selection of the country's bird life. The two guides had excellent knowledge of the birds.

Naturetrek are very experienced at such tours, and things almost invariably run like clockwork.

This was a great holiday in and around two excellent, contrasting birding locations in Aragon, Spain. The holiday was well-paced with many birding highlights (thousands of cranes, breathtakingly close views of vultures, Duponts larks singing before dawn.... I could go on), and the group members were good humoured and got along well. We really enjoyed both village hotels in their different ways - it was one of the things which attracted me to this holiday and we were not disappointed. The food was splendid too - copious delicious country cooking in Alquezar (sensational white bean soup!), and an altogether more refined and equally delicious approach from chef Vipul at Hotel Allucant in Gallocanta. Both hotels had bars providing the opportunity for some much-needed post-birding refreshment. We would happily have stayed longer in both places. I can't speak highly enough of the care and attention from both excellent leaders (Niki and Chris). In addition, both were very knowledgeable and great fun to be with. And the picnics were great. What more could one ask?

For us, Naturetrek is a tried and tested operator. This was our eleventh trip with them. All aspects of communications are handled with great efficiency, and the website is a mine of information. Staff at their UK headquarters are unfailingly helpful.

We had a 14 day tour of wildlife locations in Guyana in February 2020 with Naturetrek and had a wonderful time. The organisation of the tour was brilliant and made the most of the different habitats and wildlife to be found there.

Naturetrek find brilliant wildlife guides and Guyana was no exception. Our guide went to great lengths to ensure we saw everything possible and the tour was very well planned.

Two week trip to visit the best wildlife sites in Cambodia along with cultural highlights such as Angkor Wat. Really great holiday with a good mix of accommodation including some basic camping and amazing wildlife including two species of Gibbons and some Iconic birds including Great Ibis, bengal Florican And a visit to the vulture restaurant. Highlights included watching the river dolphins and seeing a mother and calf slicing through the water close to the boat. Also a male and juvenile gibbon playing together in a tree. The guides were excellent and really made the trip with their expert knowledge and skills at finding wildlife and explaining the ecology. We also fitted in time to experience the culture and visit markets, temples and try some brilliant local food.

Have traveled with Naturetrek over 15 times. Consistently excellent organisation, well run Holidays to some amazingly interesting countries. Really great small-group wildlife holidays.

This was our second trip to India. We put together an outline of some areas we wanted to visit and the things we wanted to achieve as part of an extended holiday of up to a month. We asked three companies to put together a plan and chose Naturetrek as the best itinerary and value. As the package was individually tailotred we booked our flights independently but all other travel and accommodation was organised by Naturetrek. The holiday met and often exceeeded our expectations with excellent guides, naturalists, drivers and accommodation throughout. We went off itinerary on a few occasions as events happened - such as watching a group of Sikhs in field practising their martial arts(with swords and no protection), being invited to join a Holi party, being invited into a Hindu wedding and reception, having meal at home with one of our guides and a cooking lesson from the wife of another guide. So many special events in a wonderful holiday. Sadly we only saw parts of a tiger (twice) but we did have the pleasure of watching an adult male leopard cross the road in front of us.

Effortlessly well organised but at the same time fun, relaxed and unhurried with many opportunities for fascinating chats with our inspiring tour leaders. The trip was highly professional and informative.

I did the pretour into Tadoba National Park and am very glad that I did as we saw tigers on each trip into the park. It was an amazing experience and beyond my expectations! Even the trips into the park where we did not see tigers, we saw an animal or bird that we had not seen before. The guides and drivers were very knowledgeable and made the tour special in every way.

We did the trip with Naturetrek and I found them very organized, friendly and helpful. The guides were excellent and asked us regularly if we were comfortable and if the food and rooms were satisfactory. The lodges were great and well located next to the park so we were at the park gate within minutes. The tour size was kept small so we got to know each other and that made for a better experience. Thank you to Naturetrek for a wonderful experience. The memories will last a lifetime!

A small group of us spent 5 days exploring a Russian Forest Reserve searching for signs of the Siberian tiger . Nearly 6000 miles from the UK we could have been on a different planet it was so different

This was a well-planned and well-run trip. It covered a wide range of habitats and enabled us to see all the hoped-for species, as well as a couple of unexpected wanderers as a bonus. The leaders were excellent and the accommodation first-class. A good group of fellow-travellers also helped to make it a memorable trip. Definitely recommended!
