Naturetrek - specialises in wildlife holidays at home and abroad. These small group day walks in UK were introduced due to Covid/lockdown.

A day trip to 2 birdwatching sites in Dorset, produced plenty of rare bird sightings ,including a honey buzzard, dartford warbler, Iceland gull, bearded tits and more

Naturetrek provided us with a very experienced guide whose ears and eyes were amazing at detecting birds.

Day trip to Somerset Levels with just 3 people and incredibly personable, knowledgeable guide. I was the least experienced member of the group and made to feel equally welcome. Good logistics, rendez vous point with loos, and felt totally safe with covid arrangements. This was my first day out since tbe start of the pandemic - i felt like id travelled a million miles to the rspb reed beds and water reserve. Amazing landscape. Great guided bird sightings - and heard seceral rare bitterns. Our guide was impressive in his knowledge, experience, his clear passion for sharing his love of birds and nature to others. Brilliant concept to have been able to continue offering, and building on their day trip formula. Recommend highly to anyone. Thank you Chris, our guide.

Great range of day triips, ease of booking, excellent info received about logistics pre departure, and great structure to the day. Ive booked with Naturetrek for a week long tour before, this day trip did not disappoint and was taken no less seriously by the tour company or guide for being 'just a day' in length.

Our guide, Brian was outstanding. He'd spotted 5 notable birds before introductions were completed! I was a nervous novice and he put me at ease immediately, His knowledge of the history, geology and geography of the area was impressive, whilst his ability to spot distant birds and recognise calls of birds both far and near was outstanding. Thank you Naturetrek for a wonderful day and the first steps on my new pastime.

The organisation of the Naturetrek day tours is impeccable and their advice and explanation when dealing with tour enquiries is extensive.

Wildlife and nature trip to the Somerset Levels with Naturetrek concentrating on birds but also including other wildlife such as flowers, insects, reptiles and mammals. Super trips and Great knowledgable tour leaders. Excellent staff and service on the phone when booking I have another trip confirmed for this year and an overseas trip pending. 3 trips pencilled in overseas for next year. Highly recommend Naturetrek to all my friends.

Our day trip was excellent. Andy was a very very good guide and spotted so many birds and wildflowers. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about so many things in the area including history and geology. A most enjoyable day.

He was excellent. A great combination of knowledge, experience and ability to inform us with confidence. A friendly manner made him a great companion.

2 day trips in Norfolk with Mike Crewe. He is very knowledgeable and knows other local naturalists, so we were able to visit sites not usually open to the public. We saw interesting flora fauna and birdlife. The scenery all very different from where live in south devon.

Knowledgeable fun had good sense of humour. He was happy to accommodate our differing interests and walking abilities.
