A day holiday exploring birds and nature was the treat I needed at this difficult covid time. Naturetreck fulfilled this for me. A wild windy day, with an expert guide and good company.

Naturetreck has found a way to give us mini adventures, days away to explore and learn about new places of natural interest. Well organised, interesting and knowlegeable guide who was unfazed by 60mph winds and welcomed all our questions.

It started wet and RSPB gate was locked until 9-30, only a few minutes to wait. The reserve then opened. Disappointing that only some paths where open. Birds where thin on the ground, The wet start eventually cleared and after dinner the sun came out. and we moved onto another area where the birds came out. finally visiting another reserve with butterflies and lizards. A grand day out.

Russ was very knowledgeable on all aspect's of the days walk, Flowers a speciality for him. A very good was had with different landscapes.

7 hours of wandering around beautiful Richmond Park with a very knowledgable guide. Perfect sightings of Little Owl and learnt a lot about a park that is very local to me but little explored. A great day out. Day trips an excellent idea in COVID-19 restrictions

This was a seven hour walk around the park with emphasis on the birds and owls. Ben was an encyclopedia of knowledge about all natural history as well as the history of the park. He was charming and inclusive, ensuring he spent time with all five of us through the day. I would highly recommend this day tour.

Naturetrek thought outside the box to enable those of us who love to combine travel and birding to book onto very small group day trips around the UK. The booking system and communication following the booking were superb and the tour leader excelled. We had a wonderful day

Nature Trek are an excellent company.

A guided day visit to study the wildlife of two areas of heathland in Norfolk. Sadly the weather was dull all day so the planned for butterflies were nowhere to be seen. The visit leader made the best of the situation with his extensive knowledge and explanations and good humoured approach. he manaaged to turn it into a rewarding and enjoyable day even though we did not see all that we had hoped.

Naturetrek kept us informed of precautions we should take before the trip and sent us information promptly. The day was well planned.

I was lucky enough to get on to one of the day trips to Arnside Knott to explore all aspects of nature. Our guide/leader was Russ Hedley and he was excellent. He knew more than just how to identify the birds, butterflies and wild flowers etc The information that he gave was informative and useful and fun. We were blessed with good weather and the area, which was new to me, was incredibly beautiful. The day was well planned and we spent the afternoon at Foulshaw Moss on the other side of the Kent estuary. I will definitely be booking with Naturetrek and hopefully Russ again.

This was the first time that I had booked with Naturetrek and I was impressed with the ease of booking and the information that I received, especially at such a difficult time for the travel industry. I was very glad to be able to get out and about to somewhere different that wasn't too far away and where I could still feel safe.

We joined a small Naturetrek group led by Tom Brereton to explore the late summer attractions of Martin Down. Tom was a great guide, knowledgeable, informative and with an easy manner. We saw a lot of interesting flora and fauna - such as Adonis blue butterflies - and many more. Enchanters nightshade, flocks of linnets and frog orchids in abundance. It was a perfect day out and we drove home full of new discoveries and with plans to re-visit. Very good value at £50 a head.

As above. Tom Brereton defied his only just mended broken toe and gave us an insightful and enjoyable tour of this very varied nature reserve. He got us up close to plants and knew every bird from its call so we saw and learnt from him things we could not have seen by ourselves..

As our main holiday to Borneo has been postponed for a year we decided to take one of Naturetrek's one day trips as we had the time off work anyway. We choose the Mid-Norfolk Heath day trip as it did not involve much travelling for us. It was a fantastic day and we learnt so much. The trip leader, Mike Crewe, epitomized all that is good about every Naturetrek tour leader I have met - very knowledgeable about the Flora and Fauna and a very personable guy. It was an outstanding day and I would recommend the Naturetrek Day trips (and any of their full trips!) to anyone.
