Naturetrek Day in Richmond Park, London

Since some of us cannot travel overseas at present this seemed a good way to learn more about an amazing local park and I was not disappointed! Although I have been there many times, seeing it with Naturetrek's extremely knowledgeable Ben Chapple was a new experience. He clearly knows every inch of the park, its history and what can be seen at different times of year and gives the info in a really interesting way. And we did see little owls ...

I have only travelled long-haul with Naturetrek previously and their trips are excellent. Organising day visits to places of natural history interest around the country with just 5 clients was a most innovative way of using valuable resources at this time.

Another Fantastic Experience

Our first Day Trip was so good, we immediately booked another one. This time, the Northumberland Coast. Same guide as last time, who cannot be bettered. Always thoughtful for the group, and full of knowledge and special insights. Over 60 species of birds, plus flora and butterflies. Stunning coastline.

Brilliant from Naturetrek

Brilliant of Naturetrek to come up with the concept of Day Trips during coronavirus restrictions. Excellent choice of locations throughout the UK. Small groups. Competitively priced. We chose Upper Teasdale. Spectacular upland scenery. More than 40 species of birds, plus rare flora.. First-class guiding throughout. Top marks to Naturetrek.

We have used Naturetrek for two holidays already, before coronavirus., and had booked again for 2020. We were provided with lots of options and full flexibility, and decided to roll over to 2021. In the meantime, we have been taking full advantage of their imaginatively designed series of Day Trips.

Introduction to Seabird Photography (Wildlife Photography Day Trip @ Bempton Cliffs)

Everything about the day ran like clockwork and we were blessed with good weather. The only down side as far as I was concerned and this is a ME problem, I'm more interest in photographing Landscapes/Seascapes or perhaps wildlife that didn't move just so fast.

Andrew Marsh was excellent. I couldn't have wished to have been in safer hands. Everything had obviously been well organized and any issues were clearly resolved. I'm already looking forward to October and spending a day in the Peak District. Andrew was to arrange for some notes to be forwarded in the form of a PDF, any idea when these will be issued? Lastly, any chance of any Landscape/Seascape Photography Workshops in the North of England say 1 to 2 hrs from the Leeds/Bradford area?

A very pleasant day on Norfolk heaths with a very knowledgeable guide

We had a very enjoyable and rewarding walk around the heaths. Our guide shared his knowledge generously and was great at spotting things to show us. We saw lots and learnt lots.

Excellent day trip

A very enjoyable and educational day, where we had a very knowledgeable and personable guide to a wonderful array of what nature had to offer in a relatively small area.

A thoroughly enjoyable and interesting day.

A relaxed exploration of Arnside Knot and its wildlife. Leader (Russ) was extremely knowledgable on a wide range of subjects and kept the day interesting from start to finish.
