This was a day trip to watch birds along the Suffolk coast at Covehithe, Benacre Broad and Walberswick National Nature Reserve. The weather was horrible - very wet and rather cold. Our trip leader, Brian, is a true expert on all things bird related and he made the day really worthwhile. We were very impressed with Brian's extensive knowledge and enthusiasm. His quiet good humour and encouragement meant that we had a lovely day despite the ghastly weather and were able to see 47 different species of wild bird, including a beautiful Short-Eared Owl which we enjoyed watching for several minutes until it was chased away by an attacking gull. It was good to be with a small party of like-minded people, seeing and learning so much about these amazing creatures. We look forward to our next Naturetrek trip.

We have been on holiday with Naturetrek on both a long holiday and a short trip and are now planning another long holiday with them for next year. Their organisational skills, enthusiasm and commitment to providing ecologically sound tourism, always keeping the needs of the flora and fauna at the forefront of every trip, is impressive. It is extremely important to me that no animal is exploited or harmed in any way by my tourism. The Naturetrek ethos accords perfectly with my own beliefs and I can have a great holiday, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing I have caused no harm by doing so.

A day trip out with like-minded people and a very personable and knowledgeable guide. The weather and light was perfect for photographing the wildlife in this most magnificent of London's Royal Parks. What better way to spend a Sunday.........

Naturetrek have stolen a march on the other tour operators with a series of one-day outings for wildlifers which have proved to be very popular and inexpensive. The cost is very reasonable which shows their main intention is to keep customers interested and occupied in these difficult times at minimal cost. Very commendable.

This was a day looking at birds on the Suffolk coast. We saw many, including migrants flying in, and two birds I had not seen before, the short-eared owl and the hen harrier. We had an excellent group leader whose knowledge of birds was amazing.

He had an amazing knowledge of birds, and was a good communicator.

A day spent with a very knowledgeable naturetrek guide of the Keyhaven marshes , enjoying the country side and coast bird watching ect.

Naturetrack. Our guide was Dr Chris Gibson, a wealth of local knowledge a superb day.

5 days of observing wildlife and the deer rut in particular on the Adnamurchan peninsula. Under the expert guidance of our tour eagle eyed tour guide we managed to see a large variety of mammals and birds and also found time to admire the great landscape. The experience was topped by the good food and kind hospitality we enjoyed.

Day trip in Walberswick. Leader’s experience and knowledge was very impressive. He shared his knowledge generously and was able to relate to both the inexperienced and experienced. Wide range of birds seen in varied habitats. An informative day with people with enquiring minds

Information provided via e mail effectively and efficiently

The days walk with Chris Gibson was interesting and informative in spite of the mildly inclement conditions. He was able to point out many features which otherwise we would not have noticed. We will probably do the walk again at a different time of the year. and state of the tide.
