A late afternoon walk at Noar Hill National Nature Reserve to look at birds, butterflies and flowers followed by a visit to the Basingstoke Canal to search for different species of bats.

Excellent service. Trip information was received as soon as the booking was made, so in plenty time for the event. Office staff are very helpful. Jon Stokes, the leader, is very well qualified and knowledgable and had a good rapport with the group.

We enjoyed a wonderful day out with Mike Langman exploring marshland and coast in the morning ( birds, butterflies, dragonflies, lizards and beautiful country and a long boat trip in the afternoon out to sea and along the lovely river Dart in the afternoon. Mike was a very good guide and we learned so much from his informative comments. Interesting also to learn of his reputation as an artist and illustrator, his illustrations now superseding the bird charts painted by my father all those years ago. In summary a great day and one which we thoroughly recommend, we will be back for more.

Not much to add to the above. Naturetrek organisation excellent as was of course that of our local guide, Mike whose knowledge of wildlife and the area generally was staggering.

Day trip from Naturetrek to Chichester Harbour and Pagham Hourbour. The leader Ben Chapple was fantastic, very engaging, gave good instructions and ensured everyone was looked after. Great boat with knowledgeable captain.

It was a one day tour of the New Forest, specifically looking for birds of prey

Ben was a good guide and very knowledgable and interesting. Saw seals and lots of birds on the boat and range of sea birds and passerines from the shore.

Naturetrek's day tours came about due to the cancelation of foreign holidays because of covid. They have diversified into day trips in Britain and cater for a wide range of interests and locations. They are obviously much more affordable than long trips abroad! This was my second trip and both guides were excellent, knowledgable and personable. Would highly recommend to anyone, whether an expert or just interested.

Day trip birdwatching by boat in the morning then Church Norton in the afternoon. Ben was a great guide.

Not working

A great day out in two locations both were interesting and the guide was very knowledgable. The only suggestion I would have would be to include all species we saw on the list supplied after the trip not just the birds as we saw moths, butterflys and othe insects.

Eexperts in wildlife and nature, mu 4th short trip this year and all have have been excellent.

Really enjoyable day, giving a good overview of the Reserve. Tour Leader had an incredible breath of knowledge, and very patient and generous in sharing this knowledge with us. Pace of day just right and day made by first sighting of a Bittern- overjoyed.

Naturetrek- well organised, with good pre- trip information and excellent directions. Followed up with a comprehensive sightings list.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening guided by David Phillips, able to view a variety of birds, along with stargazing with glimpses of the Perseid meteor shower.

Welcomed on arrival, by David Phillips, who proceeded to guide myself, my son and grandson on a short walk on the heath demonstrating his knowledge of the variety of birds to be seen, before darkness falling and watching the sky filling with an excellent views of the stars and the Perseid meteor shower. David provided comprehensive information along the way, answering all manner of questions in a thoroughly enjoyable way .
