A four-day trip to East Yorkshire looking for birds on migration. It involved visiting a number of bird sites including Spurn, Flamborough head and Bempton cliffs.

The operator was Naturetrek. The trip was very well organised with a varied agenda and flexibility given unpredictable weather. The level of knowledge of the guides was extremely good and we managed to track down a wide variety of bird species despite challenging wind conditions.

The guides were excellent and gelled well with a wide diversity of knowledge across Birds (local and migratory), Butterflies and Fauna. Their wide expanse of knowledge allowed all the party to share in what was around us and brought out hitherto unknown areas of interest. A highly rewarding trip in the presence of knowledgeable guides and using quality accommodations.

The tour was with "Naturetrek" on their "North Norfolk - Autumn Migration" tour.

We met Mike as planned and saw a lot of excelleent species of birds for a lovely day in Norfolk.

Mike was an excellent and experienced guide who took us to several birding sites. We saw many good species which we wouldn't have seen without his expertise (Including the illusive dartford warbler) Mike was good comapny and we had a lovely day with him.

The weather was against us in the morning for the New Forest section but we had some very good sightings including a Dartford warbler which was on my wish list. The afternoon at Keyhaven gave us some good sightings, many I would not have seen had I been on my own. These day trips are very good value for money. It is more than about what we see, picking up bird watching tips from Dominic is so helpful for someone like me with not a lot of experience. Such a worthwhile day.

I have been on three of these day trips. The leaders have all been experts, very professional and happy to share their knowledge and doing their best to ensure we make the most of the day. The office staff are also very efficient, friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to travelling abroad with Naturetrek in the future.

A superb, cool, autumnal day on the east coast with Brian, our guide par excellence. We saw so much from graceful birds of prey, migrating species and finally a few avian surprises hunkering down on the heath! A great day.

A 7 day, leader led, bird watching holiday to witness the autumn raptor migration across the Strait of Gibraltar based at Cortijo El Indiviso in Vejer de la Frontera, Cadiz.

Naturetrek staff at head office are friendly, proactive and approachable on all aspects of the holiday. Naturetrek's, on the ground, tour leaders in Spain are both knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The chosen accommodations are very good making for, overall, a very enjoyable holiday.

Good documentation/information pre-booking this birding day trip. Clear maps of the meeting point ensured a smooth start to the day. Large variety of species seen - exceeded expectations.

We always have good representatives from Naturetrek leading the birding day trips or holidays. On this occasion Brian was our guide - he was absolutely first class. We've been on many Naturetrek holidays and he is currently sitting in pole position: his birding knowledge is second to none; he constantly ensures that all clients are able to see the birds he has spotted; and he adds interest on other matters in a succinct way to both involve everyone and also supplement our knowledge without going off at a tangent ... first rate.
