This was a day tour in the New Forest, focussing on identifying birds by their songs. The leader, Dominic Couzens, was excellent, tailoring his information to the varying needs of our small group, and providing a wealth of useful information and tips. Overall, a first-class day tour - highly recommended.

A lovely day exploring 2 sites on the Cambridgeshire Fens with an excellent guide who helped us to identify a huge range of birds, especially warblers, by their song (with varied success, although I am sure we all ended the day much more able to discern the different songs than at the start!) The highlight had to be the 10 minutes we spent watching a battle between a heron and an eel; at one point the eel had wrapped itself around the heron's beak, but eventually he lost the battle and was swallowed head first.

The tour was well organised with a very knowledgeable guide.

This was a one day bird watching extravaganza in two locations. Symington marshes produces airings of a wealth of waders, ducks and passerines. After lunch mature woodland and heath land added new species.

Communications were clear and timely. The tour guide worked very hard on our behalf and wad extremely knowledgeable.

We had an excellent day trip with Andy looking at birds, butterflies, flowers and butterflies in the glorious area around Prawle Point. Andy was extremely knowledgeable and passed on information to us sensitively according to our knowledge. We were the least experienced but he always made sure with his excellent guidance that we could see the birds and begin to identify them by sight and sound. A really good day. Thank you.

Byron is very knowledgeable and an expert when it comes to spotting birds. He was kind and considerate with the group and anxious to ensure we all had sightings of the birds he found for us

Simple day trip to Rutland Water led by Tim Appleton. Tim was friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. An excellent trip that I thoroughly enjoyed and would love to repeat.

Naturetrek, as always, are a model of professionalism. An operator I have used many times and very much hope to use again once conditions allow.
